Hmmm I'm also a native English speaker who has two cents here that she would love to throw in to the void.
I lived in Amsterdam on exchange. If you have been on my blog for more than two seconds, you would know that I absolutely adore the Netherlands. It's kinda my brand here.
My actual Dutch? Well let's say, this quote from Pitch Perfect 2 says it all.
You know, a mess, but heat is applied to it so what was once a little messy is now super messy. Yeah.
During my adventures in Nederland, I decided to actually throw myself into learning some Dutch. Honestly, reading Dutch is wild but mostly fine. This is because Dutch is the type of language I look at and go “huh, do I understand this because of English mutual intelligibility or because I actually know some Dutch.” However, actually speaking a language is always the hardest to master and people tend to not believe you unless you can speak it. Even with Dutch, words spelt similarly in English would be pronounced differently in Dutch, which messed me up.
Furthermore, as a naturally shy person, applying my Dutch into actually practical spoken word contexts was a whole other ballpark. I have a clear memory of literally pacing my room for a solid half an hour about to voice message my Dutch friend some questions in Dutch, before going... she doesn't actually care lol. I was deathly afraid of the good ole "switch to English" and possibly even more afraid the Dutch would get too complex. While in the end I managed to elevate my Dutch to "courtesy Albert Heijn level" Dutch (wherein I could easily manage my way through the cash register at the appie), I do kinda regret not trying more.
(That said, I remember once I was going to order in Dutch and the fucking waiter recognised me from the other night, which scared me off because the whole point there was that they didn't know me. I also remember when I was out with people from my Dutch class we would sometimes dare each other to all order in Dutch so that helped. Also drunk me once powered through ordering in Dutch even when the guy responded in English and I love drunk me for that)
In the end, I remember finding it too hard to use Dutch on my friends, maybe because it was a relationship in English, maybe anxiety, maybe because I knew them already. It could have been the weight of trying to talk to someone I was close with and cared about in their native language. I have no clue what stopped me. I do remember her saying that it was weird speaking to her friends in English when I was there, because she never does that.
Enter, Dutch Boy. We will call him Jan, that is not his name but it is a common one. I met Jan at a party. Jan was in love with me. A foreign girl from Australia who was showing interest in his country? Can only imagine why he was intrigued. Unfortunately for Jan, he overestimated my Dutch. Massively. Jan would constantly flaunt how good he was at English and how great it was that he could just speak English to me and not suffer through my Dutch. Kinda cocky imo. However I almost wanted to practise my Dutch with him, knowing I needed a native speaker that wasn't my very good friend. What really got to me, and makes me realise that this guy was not prepared to actually date an exchange student was when he messaged me "onder het bord" indicating he was under the Centraal Station sign in Amsterdam. This confused me, as I had only encountered het bord as "the plate." That night I also made the mistake of saying "my Dutch is fine" basically meaning, for the level I was at, I was doing okay. He basically was like "Ava, you thought het bord was a plate" to which I replied "yes, because in A1 Dutch... it is." Afterwards, my Dutch teacher basically told me that I shouldn't worry as some Dutch people think you either know all the Dutch or none of the Dutch. I have never forgotten that bord is a het word, at least. Also for a guy who was proud he could speak English to me, getting upset at my Dutch was not the right move especially because I never implied I was fluent. We never saw each other after that night, except for in my dreams a year later where I finally stood up to him.
(One day I absolutely will write that entire situation into a book lol)
Point is, I am not sure if I find it rude. I actually don't think it is. While it can be discouraging, I think it depends on the context. Like the person above said, if I was in a customer service situation, or giving directions, and they were speaking in broken English (situations I have been in before) could find some way to make it easier and switch to their language which I had been learning from a young age, I would. It is exhausting. I was coming home from work once and this guy, clearly first day here in Sydney, was asking if our train stopped at a certain station. His English wasn't great and the answer was actually complex as I would need to tell him he had to change trains, as ours would terminate before his station. If I could speak his language, I absolutely would have switched. I think in transactional conversations you have probably got to read the room. If you're the only one there, it's fine to probably mention you wanna practise your Dutch/German whatever. If it's rush hour at the appie, I almost don't blame them for switching out of habit and efficiency (probably NOT on you and thus Not rude). Once I remember I tried ordering soup in Dutch, realised it wasn't working and humbly switched to English in front of my whole Dutch class because it was busy and we didn't have the time. I tried in Dutch. I failed. Let's move along so the next person can order in Dutch. Most people probably think they are helping by switching to English transactionally. They are not mind readers, they don't know you have an interest in learning unless you tell them, honestly they probably think you're doing a tourist guidebook getting by approach.
However, in personal life, I did think this Dutch guy... didn't handle it correctly, since he knew I was interested in the Netherlands and learning Dutch. He could have gone around it a lot better than chastising my Dutch. I am all for being corrected, I am learning, but not like that. It is a whole other language and I don't know everything, yet. My brother is dating a German girl. I have no clue how it worked when they were in Germany together but here they would sometimes blabber along in German, and its very cute. She actually seems interested in helping my brother improve his German and it was refreshing to see. They both have the time to help each other and so she won't switch, although sometimes I think she gets sick of speaking English. When I was with some family friends in Germany, they translated things for me and were super happy when I learned new things or found something in the supermarket by myself. My Dutch friends were happy when I said like one word in Dutch, and when I progressed a little, they told me that I was learning a whole new language so of course I was going to have moments. I sent them my homework and they would correct it. And, yeah while I got lots of people basically saying "why would you bother, we all speak English" I had loads of positive interactions surrounding it too that cancelled that out. So yeah. I truly think that it is absolutely about intent and context. If you show interest in actually learning, the reception could be a lot more positive. However, some people are just mean.
Yes English has a lot of French and Greek/latin in it but most of our everyday words are still Germanic. We did have that great vowel shift though. Idk what was so great about it but it makes it so we can’t understand Dutch anymore
#honestly this post sucks because op makes lots of good points but then they generalise people switching as rude#its fustrating but not always rude#i dont think it is because i would probably do the same if i could and thought it would make life easier#like you do have to specify and then i guess its rude after if they continue in english after you say no im learning your language#tbf i feel weird about correcting people's english so theres that#like i remember when my ex friend exchanged to france in high school her host family were excited to use her to practise their english#i didnt expect dutch people to switch to english because i entered the room (they did eventually because they wanted to include me)#i also remember when i was in spakenburg with a family friend she told me and her husband to stand back at a shop#so she could speak dutch and the shopkeeper wouldnt hear us speak english or our accents and hike up the price#i also remember my greek friend wishing she could speak to me in greek. i wish she could too so we can share the burden.#alas so many langauges#so little time

Practice makes perfect | Leah Williamson x Reader
Where you and Leah practised kissing each other to prepare for kissing boys, but you quickly realise that after that you don't want to kiss anyone but her
Woso masterlist | Words: 2.5k
-----
As the only two girls on the boys' team growing up, you and Leah clicked right away. Football brought you together, but it was everything else about her that kept you close. Not many people had stuck around in your life the way Leah had. From meeting at six years old to now, a decade later, she was still your best friend.
The football dream was becoming reality for the both of you. The young Lionesses and Arsenal Academy were where you spend most of your time besides school or each other’s houses. The two of you were inseparable and everyone knew it. Where you went Leah went, and visa versa.
“Remember when we were like twelve and we practised kissing?” Leah asks you out of nowhere while you’re sitting in her bed and playing video games. You think back to the moment.
It was a similar situation to this one, you were having a sleepover and had just finished watching a romcom. “How do you know if you’re gonna be a good kisser if you’ve never kissed someone before?” Leah asked with a voice filled with curiosity.
“I have no clue. Why don’t they show those parts in the movies?” You turned off the tv and pulled the covers further over your body. “Exactly! Like when I kiss a guy for the first time, I want to make sure that like I can kiss him properly, you know?”
You nodded, understanding her concerns. “What if we practised kissing together? Then we can tell each other if we’re any good.” Leah loved your idea and instantly sat up in bed again. “You are brilliant!”
She made you sit up as well and once you did she double checked if it was okay. When you nodded in confirmation, she leaned in and pecked your lips. “How did I do?” She instantly asked. “Good I think, what about me?” She smiled proudly, “Nice, you as well.”
You had practised a couple more times that night, and when you both liked boys, you had practised some more so that the first kisses you would have with them would be perfect.
“Yeah, I remember.” In the meantime Leah had paused the game to fully focus on the conversation she wanted to have. “I was wondering if maybe we could practise something again.”
“What do you want to practise?” You asked to urge her to go on. “Well, I heard from some girls in our class that they’ve been making out with their boyfriends, and they talked about how it goes and everything, but even with that information I don’t feel even remotely ready to just make out with a guy. So, I thought that maybe, if you’re up for it of course, we could practise like we did before?”
Even with the introduction Leah gave, her question still caught you off guard. Leah’s hopeful eyes were hard to ignore while you thought about her question. “Just so we don’t totally embarrass ourselves when the time comes.”
"Yeah, exactly! I don’t want to make things weird between us though, you can totally say no.” She quickly added. “It’s not weird.” you said shifting to sitting cross-legged, facing Leah, on her bed. “We’re just practising.”
Leah’s face lit up with relief, “Exactly, Just practising.” She turned to sit cross-legged as well. She told you how your classmates had described making out, so you were both on the same page.
“So, eh,” you cleared your throat, “do we just go for it?” Leah let out a nervous laugh, “I guess so?” You nodded, which Leah took as her sign to start leaning in. She inched closer slowly, until her lips brushed yours.
At first she just pecked your lips like you had practised before. Your heart started beating faster, but you didn’t understand why. Her soft, warm lips on yours felt familiar, yet somehow different. “Still okay?” She asked to make sure you wanted to do this as well. “Yeah.”
You leaned in this time and let your lips move in sync with hers. Your heart thudded loudly in your chest as Leah reached out her hand and cupped your cheek to pull you a little closer.
When she pulled back after a few moments, her eyes searched yours. “How was that?”
Your brain felt like it was running a million miles an hour, and you were scrambling to find words. “Good.” You managed finally. “What about me?” Leah’s lips quirked into that proud smile she had done last time, “Good too.”
A feeling came over you that you had never felt before, you couldn’t quite place it, but before you could overthink it, Leah was leaning in again. “Practice makes perfect, right?” she said softly, and when you didn’t move away, her lips were on yours again.
That night while Leah slept soundly besides you, your mind wouldn’t stop racing. Trying to make sense of what you were feeling.
It wasn’t until a few weeks later when you saw Leah kiss a boy in your class, that you realised what was happening. The moment you saw the two of them together, you felt a pang of jealousy. All you knew in that moment was that you weren’t jealous of Leah in that moment, but you were jealous of him.
You turned on your heels and got away from the situation as quickly as possible. Of course, you headed straight over to the football field. The one place where everything felt right. You must’ve spent hours kicking a ball around until your parent’s called asking when you’d be home. “No Leah tonight?” Your mom had asked when you walked in, seemingly without the blonde by your side. You hadn’t even thought about it, but usually Leah would join you on Fridays. “Eh, no not tonight.” You say quickly. “Do I have time for a quick shower?” Your mom nodded and you rushed to your room.
You checked your phone and sure enough you had a bunch of messages from Leah. The last one read I hope everything is alright. Couldn’t find you at school so I headed home. Please text me back!
You didn’t text Leah back that night, or the next morning. It wasn’t that you were mad at her, of course you weren’t, you didn’t think you ever could be, but you just didn’t know what to say. Every time you thought about her, you saw that boy’s lips on hers. Every time you saw it play back in your mind, it made your chest ache.
But Leah was Leah. Persistent, stubborn, and your best friend. So, it didn’t take her long to just show up at your house unannounced.
“You’ve been avoiding me.” She stated from your doorframe, after your dad had let her in. She found you laying on the floor with one of your textbooks in front of you, trying to bury yourself into your homework. “What’s going on?”
You glanced at her and then quickly focused back on your textbook. “Nothing.” Leah shook her head and stepped inside, closing the door behind her. “Liar.” She sighed, “Did I do something wrong?”
“No!” You said a little too quickly and defensive for Leah to believe it. She crossed her arms and leaned against your door, studying you like she was trying to solve a puzzle. “I just need some space.” You said softly, unable to meet her eye.
“Since when do we do space?” Her voice softened. She walked further into your room and sat down on the edge of your bed. “Come on, talk to me.”
You wanted to. You wanted to tell her everything. You always told Leah everything, but how could you tell her about your feelings? How could you tell her that you were jealous of a guy she kissed? Talk about the way your heart raced when you made eye contact with her?
“I’m fine, Lee.” You forced a smile, but it didn’t quite reach your eyes and Leah could tell. You saw that she was fighting her inner monologue to press further, her lips parting like she was about to. Before she could say anything, your mother yelled upstairs, “Leah, honey, are you staying for dinner?”
Leah turned to you, “Do you want me to go?” You shake your head, “No, it’s okay. You can stay.” She opened the door and told your mom she would love to before turning back to you. “I’m gonna help her with dinner, you know, so you can have some more space.” This time you noticed her smile not fully reaching her eyes, but before you could say anything, she had already closed the door behind herself.
You stopped ignoring Leah, because you knew she would just find a way in, but that didn’t mean that your interactions were any less awkward, well at least for you. From Leah’s side it seemed like nothing had happened, while you questioned every interaction you had with her.
When she laughed at your jokes, or let her hand linger on your arm or leg, everything made your skin feel like it was on fire.
A few weeks later Leah was picking out her prom outfit with her mom. She had tried on a bunch of dresses, but none of them seemed to be what she was looking for. Today was the last chance of finding something, since prom was literally tonight. So, Amanda was determined to spend the whole morning driving from store to store until they found something.
It was the third store of the morning where Leah’s eyes fell on a baby blue suit, and she knew instantly that that was going to be the one. Her mom encouraged her to put it on, and the smile on her daughter’s face was exactly the reason why she had.
“This is going to be the one!” Leah said as she admired the suit in the mirror. “It’s lovely Leah Cathrine.” Leah smiled big, “Thank you.” After paying for the clothes, the pair headed back to the car.
“Oh mom, I wanted to ask if you could drive y/n and me tonight.” Her mom’s brow furrowed. “Darling of course I would, but I thought y/n wasn’t going?” Leah looks at her mom as if she was crazy. “What makes you think that?”
“Oh well, because that’s what she said yesterday. She said she wasn’t really feeling up to going.” Leah didn’t understand, you hadn’t told her anything. “But she was so excited about it and had her outfit picked out like months ago already. Do you know why she isn’t going?”
Amanda shakes her head, “I don’t know.” Leah was quick to respond. “You didn’t push further?” Amanda chuckles lightly, “No, that’s more your thing, darling.”
Leah sat back in the seat and crossed her arm, going over what she could do. “Can you drive me to her place tonight?” She nodded, “Sure, darling.”
You were watching a movie in your sweats when you heard a knock on the door. When you opened the door, Leah stood in front of you with a small bouquet of flowers. “What are you doing here? Aren’t you supposed to be at prom?”
“I could ask you the same thing.” Leah shoots back instantly. “I’m not going Lee, you should still go though. I’m sure your boyfriend would like you to be there.”
“Boyfriend?” Leah steps inside and closes the door behind her. “What are you talking about? I don’t have a boyfriend.” You shrug your shoulders, “I saw you and Steve kiss, figured you two were together.”
“Oh no definitely not.” Leah said defensively, “He kissed me, and I told him that I wasn’t interested.” You searched her eyes for anything to prove what she was saying wrong, but she seemed sincere. “Oh.”
“So, come to prom with me?” Leah said, holding out the bouquet to you. “Sorry, Lee, I can’t.” She retracted the flowers reluctantly. “Why not?”
Her question hung in the air. Again you wanted to tell her, but you just couldn’t. “I just can’t, please drop it.” But Leah was Leah and there wasn’t any scenario in which she would drop this. “I won’t drop it. You’ve been excited about your outfit, the music, the pictures. You’ve been talking about prom non-stop for months and now you’re here in sweats not going. Please just tell me what’s going on. If I did something, let me in and let me fix it.” Her plea sounded desperate.
“You didn’t do anything wrong, and there is nothing you can fix.” You sighed in frustration, wishing she would just drop it. “Did someone else do something? Please just tell me what’s going on.”
“Fine, okay, I’ll tell you.” Leah focussed on you instantly, not having expected you to break so soon. “I can’t go to prom with you because ever since we practised making out, all I can think about is wanting to kiss you again.”
Your eyes were looking anywhere but Leah, not ready to see the way she would react to that confession. “Please look at me.” She slowly reached up her hand to your cheek to turn your head to face her. You expected anger, disgust, or even hurt in her eyes, but instead you were met with softness.
“You know the reason I told Steve I wasn’t interested?” You shook your head. “It’s because after he kissed me, I felt nothing. Which was a stark opposite to how I felt when we kissed. I swear it was just practise when I asked you, but I think that was exactly what I needed to realise my feelings for you.” Leah confessed.
You stare at her for a moment, taking in the confession. She liked you the same way that you liked her? The corners of your lips slowly rose as it was all coming together in your head. And then without hesitation, you lean in and kiss her for real this time. She kissed you back instantly, and pulled you closer like she had done last time. It felt even better than your time practising, now knowing your feelings for each other.
When Leah pulled away, she leaned her forehead against yours. “So, prom?” Your smile grew. “Yes, just let me get changed.”
You rushed to your room and quickly got ready. “Wow, you look amazing!” Leah said as you walked back downstairs. “So do you!” You pecked her lips appreciatively. She took your hand and pulled you out the door where her mom was still waiting in the driveway. “Ready to go to prom, girls?” She knew by your happy faces that whatever was going on between the two of you these past weeks, was resolved. “Yeah, more than ready.” You said and Leah squeezed your hand. “Yeah, let’s go.”

Max Unravelled
Unravelling Max's Mystery (Max Verstappen x Online Friend!Reader)
Series Masterlist
Summary- Max accidentally made an account on google plus in 2013. He came across a poetry page and enjoyed reading them. He ends up friends with the poet. He loved the normalcy she brought to his life. He didn't realise when the comfort he felt for her turned into love.
{Max's POV}
2013
I was searching for something on my gmail account when a pop up for google plus came through; without much thought I clicked on it. Some how, I'm yet to figure that out, I ended up with a google plus account. One of the few accounts I got recommended was a poetry and story account. They wrote very eloquently; I could feel the emotions in every word. I started reading all their posts in my spare time and even commenting on the ones I liked. I found my self constantly checking back to their page to see if they posted something. Their poetry was relatable and understandable. I hope they always have a good day since their words always pick me up when I'm down.
The poet I had been enjoying so much is a girl, and her name is Y/N. She's around my age; I guess that's why I related to her work so much. We spoke for the first time ever on her birthday. She made a post about it being her birthday so I wished her. She was sad about not being able to enjoy her birthday, I felt bad for her so we talked for a while until dad called me to practise. That was the start of our friendship. We ended up talking on google plus a lot. We shared the same sense of humour and best of all, she didn't know about racing. It was like a breath of fresh air to not talk about racing. She doesn't even seem interested in it; so I can live as Max for a while now.
My birthday was shit but talking to her made everything better. I can't believe I got excited about talking to someone and that someone made me feel good even on one of my shittiest days. She's one of the nicest people I've had the pleasure of talking to. I really do wanna talk to her on phone, typing everything I want to say out feels tedious.
2014
I've gotten busier since this year with Formula 3. We barely get to talk anymore. She did send me her number and we chat on Whatsapp whenever we can. But obviously it is not the same. I've suggested talking on call a few time and she finally agreed; I just need to find the perfect time to get away from everything to talk to her. I felt so nervous to talk to her for some reason, what if she thought I was weird and didn't enjoy talking to me? What if she heard me and decided I wasn't fun? What if we had nothing to talk about? I called her while sitting in my driver's room, she picked up quite quickly after 2 rings to be exact.
Max- Hi, Y/N! Y/N- Hey, Max!! How are you? Max- I'm good, what about you? Y/N- Yeah, I'm good too. haha!! This is so weird talking to you. Max- yeah, you sound pretty. Why would I say that? That sounds so fucking creepy, I face palmed myself so hard. Y/N- You sound nice too. I mean....you have a nice voice. Max- haha, thanks, this is the first time some one has said that. She thinks I have a nice voice, do I? Y/N- soooo, what have you been up too?? You've been so busy lately. I could hear people outside the driver's room. I quickly locked the door before answering her question. Max- yeah, I've been busy with stuff. I'll be done soon for a while now. Y/N- That's great I need my best friend back! Did she just call me her best friend? I've never had a best friend before.
We ended up talking on calls a lot more. I would have her contact ringer saved with a separate ringtone so that I would know to answer it. She usually called at reasonable times, where ever I travelled as if she knew my schedule.
2015
I got signed with RedBull Racing's junior team, making me the youngest driver. It was such a surreal feeling. But this also meant I couldn't talk to Y/N as much as I wished I could. Training and the races kept me very busy. But she was very understanding and would always welcome me back, no matter how long I was gone for.
2021
The first time I'm regretting not telling what I do to Y/N was today when I won my first World Championship. I was surrounded by my team, my girlfriend and my family as I got out of the car after I finished P1 at Abu Dhabi but it felt strange; like I was missing someone. I wish I could share this win, the biggest in my life yet, with the person who makes me feel so special yet so myself.
When I asked her about Formula One, she didn't know about, she didn't even know the prominent figures. So, I wasn't as worried about her finding out but I did worry now; since my win was controversial according to the media. However, she never asked. Was she really unaware or playing dumb? I wasn't sure if I should be grateful I get to be just Max or sad that I can't share a huge part of my life with my best friend.
2023
Y/N and I have been friends for the past 10 years. Time really flies. I've gotten a lot better at balancing my personal and work life. Y/N is my well kept secret; like I'm the only one who knows her. She moved out for college and we've only video called since. She is still funny and still writes. I think it's so cool of her to stay passionate about what she loves and keeping at it. She loves my cats more than I love them sometimes, she get's so excited when I send pictures of them. She says they cheer her up and that Jimmy and Sassy are her virtual pets. They loved her too honestly, they would always recognise when she was on call and jump into my lap or the phone to see or hear her. She still doesn't know what I did for a living; we've kept that a 'secret' you could say. But really I just didn't know how to tell her I was a Formula One driver and a 2 time World Champion.
Today was like any other day, I hadn't spoken to Y/N at all. Whenever I called her, I would usually close/lock the door depending on who was at home. My girlfriend didn't know about Y/N. I didn't even know how to bring it up, honestly. I sat down on my SimRacing chair after I switched the livestream off. Her phone rang for a few times and then stopped ringing but she didn't answer the call. I tried again thinking maybe she was busy or didn't hear it. I called a couple times before texting her; no reply. I was freaking out. This was the first time in 10 years that she hasn't answered my calls. She won't even reply to my messages. I found myself pacing around the house. The door to the room opened to my girlfriend's daughter standing in front of me, "Maxie, why are you walking in circles?" She asked after observing me for sometime. "It's nothing" I said, trying to calm myself down more than give a reply to her question. All these horrible thoughts swirled through my mind; what if she was in an accident and no one knows? What if she got robbed? What if she hurt herself and can't get help? What was I supposed to do? I didn't even know where she lived. I just couldn't think straight. My hair was a mess with how much I was running my fingers through it, a few stands coming along when I almost pulled them out of frustration.
After 7 hours, she replied to my text. I had almost given up hope, but she said that she was fine and that her phone was about to die. I felt relieved knowing that she was ok. But the text was so out of character for her. I texted her everyday after that in hope of talking to her. We always spoke everyday and it had been years since we didn't speak for so long. Almost every text was left on delivered. I had a race this weekend which I won and went out to celebrate with everyone because they wanted me to tag along. I didn't see the text Y/N sent me a while after the race since I was at the club. I only saw it when I got home. As soon as I saw it, I called her. She answered after a few rings.
Max- Schat, how have you been? Haven't heard a word from you in days. You could clearly hear the worry in my voice. Y/N- I've been busy, school year ending and stuff. Why didn't you sleep yet? Max- You know my sleep schedule is non existent. Y/N- Yeah, I guess I do. What did she mean by that? Her voice seemed hoarse, was she sick?Y/N- You know how I do freelance editing Max- You've told me about it Y/N- The latest author I'm working with is a sports author. I was hoping you could help me since you are a walking encycylopedia. Max- sure schat, but what's up with you? You know I'm always there for you Y/N- Yeah it nothing, just stressed. Max- Take off, you deserve it I wish she took care of herself instead of working so hard without breaks. Y/N- The summer break is here soon, I'll be fine. So about that author... Max-Yeah, what sport does she write for? Y/N- Formula One. I don't really like reading lengthy articles and I'm sure one article wouldn't do a sport any justice. I felt the ground slip from under my feet. My palms had gotten sweaty suddenly. Max- You did not go through google yet, right? (I stammered out) Y/N- Oh no, what do you take me for? I got excited to learn about something new. Do you know who the reigning champion is? I felt like I was about to lose everything. I didn't know what to say, my mouth was dry. No matter what I said, I don't think I could fix this situation. Y/N- Some dude named Max Verstappen. You guys share the same first name. He has 2 cats too; named Jimmy and Sassy, who look exactly like your bengals. I mean he even looks like you, with horrible sleep schedule just like you. He even sounds like you. There was horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach and my lungs felt like there was no air in them. Watching her tear up was the worst feeling.
Max- Schatje, I can explain. Y/N- You don't have to Max. I never asked you what you did. You don't have to explain anything. Max- I wanted to tell you, it just never came up in conversation. Y/N- I get it, it's difficult to tell your friend who has amounted to nothing that you are the World Driver's Champion, best of the best in Formula One. Max- Y/N, it's nothing like that. You're great, you're kind, you're funny. She laughed, but that stung my heart for the first time when her laugh was my favourite sound in the world. Y/N- Those are character traits I possess, they don't describe my career goals or achievements. I know I work 2 jobs to stay afloat while you make millions, I know I wish I was an author and not their editor, I know you probably thought I was too stupid to understand your rich and fancy world. Max- No, no, you're so talented. I've read your work and I'm sure the right publication will pick your work up. Y/N- I got rejected for the sixth time today. All of this is fine except that you lied to me about being single while having a girlfriend for years and having the happy family you dreamt off. You didn't have to introduce me to her; not like my boyfriends met you. But it would've been nice if I knew. Max- It just never came up. (I held my head in shame) Y/N- I...we joked about setting you up with someone all the time. Please don't. I get it, we didn't tell each other about work goals or what we did as a job but personal life; I literally told you about every guy I've ever been with. I felt bad telling you thinking you were single. I feel stupid right now. I wanted to reach out and wipe her tears but I couldn't. Max- I'm sorry,Y/N. I promise I won't hide anything anymore. Please, don't cry. Y/N- My name is Y/N Y/L/N. I majored in literature in Uni and now work as a primary school teacher and freelance editor. I'm trying to get my book published soon. I broke up with my boyfriend 2 months ago. This fucking hurt, everything she said and the way she said it. Max- Please don't do this. Y/N- I believe at least one of us should be honest. Max- Let me fix this. Y/N- Don't worry. There's nothing to fix. Max- Please don't say that. You mean a lot me. (I felt tears in my eyes.) Y/N- Me too. That's why, I need time. I'll talk to you when I'm ready. Max- Please, I can't lose you. I felt like my world was crashing. Y/N- You won't. I'll always be there for you. I just need time. Take care Max I was crying as she said it. Max- Bye, take care Y/N. I'll always be here. And the screen blacked out, I could see my reflection on the screen, tears streaming down my face.
After I was able to clear my head I texted her telling her that I would always be there for her and I would like to clear up the misunderstanding when she's ready. I spent the next few months thinking about her. It was starting to affect my relationship. I couldn't really give my girlfriend time when my mind was occupied with thoughts of Y/N. When my girlfriend brought it up how we were growing apart; I had a fight with her. I don't know what came over me, but not talking to Y/N or not knowing what was up with her was making it very difficult for me to focus on anything. The fighting became a constant after that. I didn't understand why she couldn't let me be. I missed my friend but she wouldn't get it.
I was SimRacing when Y/N's name popped up on my phone asking me to call her. I guess she was ready to talk it out. I really wished that this wasn't the end of our friendship. I really hoped that we could get over the misunderstanding and still be friends. I told the team I had some work and called her immediately. She answered like always; I waited for her to speak with baited breath. She started talking and we cleared everything up. I apologised for hiding the truth from her. I told her how much of a constant she was for me in my ever hectic life; how talking to her made everything better. She listened to me, I listened to her and then finally asked her to come to my home race. I wanted to meet her. I couldn't live knowing that I had the resources but didn't meet the one person that mattered to me the most. She was hesitant at first but I offered to get her the tickets and insisted on her joining me at the biggest race of the season for me and finally she agreed. I was over the moon. As soon as we ended the call, I sent her the tickets. I found myself counting down the days to the race for the first time.
I was waiting for her at the airport when she got here. My heart was beating very fast as I waited for her to come out. When I saw her; she was beautiful, shorter than I expected but she looked cute with her bag in one hand and a back pack on her shoulder, her hair in a low bun, a small smile graced her feature. I don't think I've noticed anyone with such detail ever before. Our conversation flowed easily. It didn't feel like it was the first time we were meeting. I dropped her at the hotel and went off to do media duty's at the paddock when I came back she was still asleep, traveling must've tired her out. She got dressed while I waited for her to get ready, even giving my 2 cents on what she should wear. She looked gorgeous, I couldn't help myself, staring at her. The black satin dress hugged her curves in all the right places. Her hair flowed down her back, the jewellery sparkling against her body. We went to have dinner at a fancy dutch restaurant. She loved the food especially the apple tart. The moan she let out as she devoured the dessert made blood rush downwards. I found my cheeks heating up, thankfully the whole place was dimly lit. We walked around for a while after the meal, she made fun of my name but I couldn't care less. I apologised and she accepted it and hugged me. Her arms were soft and the embrace warm. I found myself wrapping my arms around her, my face buried in her neck. I was scared I was gonna lose her, forever. I've never been scared to lose anything but a race until now and the thought of not having her in my life seemed scary. She consoled me and we headed back to the hotel.
The rest of the weekend was uneventful except for my girlfriend being pissed; she fought with about Y/N. I don't get what her problem is, she's just a friend I've known since forever. I'm just showing her around. I was giving interviews when I saw her talking to Lando, I saw them laughing along in the corner of my eye. It made me feel strange, there was this feeling in the pit of my stomach and I didn't like it. When I got back, Lando had left since it was his turn. She found Lando cute and it irked me, I was annoyed hearing her ask me to set her up with him. We got back to RedBull hospitality when my girlfriend asked me to talk to her, I left with her reluctantly leaving Y/N with Checo.
"Listen Max, I get it, she's your childhood friend and all, but it's so weird how she suddenly cropped up when I or for that matter any one knew nothing about her. People are saying stuff about us since she stepped on the paddock and the way you are dragging her along." my girlfriend spoke. "What are people saying? I will not stand any slander against her" I cut her off. She laughed dryly. "WOW, they are saying stuff about us, Max, us, that you are cheating on me with her. You've been so distant for months until a month ago, I didn't know what went wrong and you wouldn't talk either." she said running a hand through her hair. "It's nothing really. She just knows me as Max and not Max Verstappen and that's why I'm closer to her. Nothing more." I said. "It's pointless talking to you" she said turning around. "If we're done, I'm leaving, Y/N doesn't know anyone here except me." I said leaving for the door. She huffed before she followed me out. Y/N looked worried about what was going on between me and my girlfriend but I calmed her down and we spent the day together. She tagged along during quali too. I saw her praying before quali, it made my heart swell. I was starting pole and we spent the night watching a movie even though Y/N wanted me to rest before the race, I wanted to make the most of the little time we had.
Y/N hugged me before the race wishing me. I wanted to win so bad, I'd won here twice before but this was different. I wanted to win in front of her. I raced like a mad man and then I heard it. I crossed first and my happiness knew no bounds; knowing she was watching. I got out of the car and immediately ran to her; hugging her. It was cathartic. Y/N said my girlfriend looked annoyed, but I couldn't care less. I watched my girlfriend leave, annoyed. When I received the trophy at the top step of the podium knowing she was watching me from below made it so much more worth it. Y/N wanted to go out to celebrate my win and I wasn't one to say no. I went back to the hotel to get cleaned up and ready for the night.
I was greeted by my girlfriend in the room, it was dimly lit as she was sat at the corner of the bed with tears streaming down her face. "HOW COULD YOU DO THAT MAX?" she screamed at me. "Am I a fucking joke? I let it slide, you said you were friends but the first person you go to after winning your race was her, what do you think people were whispering when you did that?" she said in between sobs. I didn't get what she was saying. "Do you like her?" she asked. "What? We're friends" I stated. She shook her head, "No, Max, you aren't. The way she looks at you is how I look at you. The way you look at her" She cried, "You've never looked at me like that" she lamented. "It's nothing like that" I began. "You should've respected me at the very least and broken up with me if you liked someone else, I'm not gonna be some girl's place holder till you can have her." she cried out. "You're not a place holder for her" I said. "Feels exactly like that" she said wiping her tears. I felt nothing my 2 year long relationship might be ending and I didn't care. I didn't even try to correct her, did I really like her? Was Y/N really more important to me? "We're through Verstappen, if you can't even fight for us, I'm not about to fight for us" she sighed dejected. I walked towards the bathroom to wash up while she packed up to leave. When I got out she was gone. I went to pick Y/N up.
She kept asking me about my girlfriend but I never told her that we broke up. I didn't want her to feel responsible for my decision. At the club, she got close to everyone pretty quickly. She was unstoppable, downing one drink after another. I hadn't touched alcohol since I was driving. The others kept handing her drinks much to my dismay. She asked me to come dance with her but I had the others to look after too. She was busy dancing surrounded by too many guys, one of them going as far as to touch her and grind against her. All I saw was red, I bid the guys good bye and stormed the dance floor to drag a reluctant Y/N with me; I ended up carrying her out on my shoulder. She wasn't very happy, screaming and hitting me till I put her down. She puked as soon as I put her down and joked about missing my expensive car, I didn't really mind if she hadn't since she was more important than the car. I got her medicine and left them at her side after putting her to bed.
We spent the next few days after the race sight seeing. Y/N brought up my girlfriend a few time and I ended up avoiding her. When we were cuddling while watching Barbie I felt my heart beating out of my chest as she scooted closer to grab tissue. When her hand brushed against my skin, it burnt and a weird feeling erupted in my chest. She seemed completely unaware of how she was making me feel. We fell asleep on the couch that night.
I wasn't able to avoid the girlfriend question any longer and told her that we broke up without making any eye contact on the way to drop her to the airport. My eyes stung and there was a lump in my throat; I wasn't sure it was because of my girlfriend or Y/N. I bid her farewell, she would turn back towards me to wave after every few steps; my eyes were blurry after sometime trying to prevent the tears from falling. I ended up crying after she left.
All the races after, I ended up going shopping after or before every race to collect some trinkets or stuff that was special to that place and mailing it to her with small notes attached. She would graciously open them in front of me on video call; the smile she gave me the first time she received was unparalleled. It made my stomach turn over. I wanted to make her smile every chance I got. That's how I ended up sending her a package after every race from every country until I got reprimanded by her for the excessive amount of gifts. She asked me not to send one after every race and stick to one or two in total; I was forced to agree to that request.
We were planning on spending Christmas and New Year together; she wanted to leave after Christmas but I was able to convince her to stay until I had to leave for pre-season training. I couldn't wait for the season to end and to spend the year end with Y/N. We celebrated me winning the championship on video call; even though I had hoped she could be present in person but it wasn't possible with her schedule. This championship felt better than the last two since I was able to celebrate it with her. 2021 me wouldn't believe me right now.
Y/N flew in as soon as winter break started for her. I had cleaned up the house as much as possible. I had told my cats about Y/N visiting who seemed excited. I picked her up from the airport and when we got home the cats were very excited to meet her; a lot more receptive than the other guests I've had over. We spent the next few days going to places and the Monaco GP circuit. She cribbed about walking the entire time we walked the path. It made me laugh.
The night before Christmas we fell asleep on the couch cuddling; I hadn't slept this well in a very long time. When I woke up, Y/N was no where to be seen. I sat up waiting for her to return when she came back, she looked so cute in her jumper and shorts with her hair a mess. We opened up presents after some time. She had gotten me a Sid plushie, an ugly sweater and perfume. I got her a Formula One book with my face, a coffee mug and a pendant. I wanted to get her more stuff but I was sure she would make me return it if she saw every thing. I think the house would be over run with the amount of stuff I wanted to get her. Then she brought the matching sweater she got with me; I put it on immediately. I wanted to match with her all the time. We had a bit of back and forth on the dinner but agreed on Turkish kabab.
New Year came too quickly, which meant Y/N would be leaving soon. We went clubbing on New Year eve. She didn't drink like the last time we were at the club but made friends with some of the guys there. Having a social butterfly for a friend was a bad idea. We counted the time down to midnight as the clock struck 12 and I turned towards her to celebrate I saw she was kissing one of the guys she had befriended when we entered. If the club was quite you could hear my heart shatter. That's when I realised that all these weird feeling and all the times I couldn't stop thinking about her was because I liked her, no scratch that, I loved her. I felt my heart constrict when she turned towards me and hugged me later. I didn't want to talk about it, this would ruin our friendship.
All I could think about was how it felt to watch her kiss another man. I hated it, the worst feeling, worse than DNFing or not winning. I hated knowing another man could touch her and feel her. I wasn't even sure how to bring it up since what were we if not just friends. I put myself into training for the upcoming season but those feelings I felt when she kissed another man were still fresh in my head and I couldn't get rid of them even if I tried.
I was able to convince her to join me during her spring and summer break. We had fun, I loved having her waiting for me at the end of the race. I didn't really enjoy all the media questions that had cropped up about Y/N when she was seen with me, before or after the race. During my summer break, I spent it at her place. When I got there, it was a small apartment; but it had a homely feel. She would cook food for me and we would watch movies; I had a few commitments with the team and would leave for some time but then be back. It was so nice to have some one to come home to. When she was having her book launch, I went to meet her at her launch with a bouquet of flowers. "Congratulations" I said while handing her the flowers and giving her a hug. "Thank you" she replied, a smile playing on her lips. We had celebratory dinner after. Immediately after that, we were on the news. It read that I had a girlfriend, she kept apologising but it didn't matter. It made me a little warm, I'm not sure what emotions I felt hearing people speculate that she was my girlfriend.
I flew back to Netherland for the race early, she would only be joining me on the race day due to work. It dampened my mood but there wasn't much I could do about it. She flew in the morning of the race; it made my day watching her walk out of the airport. We talked all the way to the hotel where she got changed and we headed to the paddock. I had thought it through; after the qualifying, I had planned on telling her how I felt. I was gonna win this race and confess to her. Knowing that I can't hold her while someone else can was eating away at me and I wanted to take the chance before it slipped away from me.
I started the race P2 and finished it at P2. In the final laps, the only thoughts running through my head were, I really wanted to ask her out as a race winner, I can't do that now. She probably doesn't even like me like that, did I really want to ruin everything I had with her. I stumbled out of the car towards her, a big smile on her face. And suddenly I said it; "I wanted to ask you out as a race winner" emotions were running high. She insisted me to continue and when I did, she agreed to go out with me. I was over the moon, my head was reeling. This race ending was not what I hoped for but Y/N's answer was something I really was hoping for.
She waited for me in the driver's room. I couldn't help but not touch her. Her skin against mine send electric shocks through me, I couldn't help but smile at the feeling of her against me. I wanted to have this feeling for the rest of the life. I wanted to have her next to me; it took me a while to figure that out but now that I had, I didn't want to let go. I loved her and I wanted her.
We were both in the hotel room at the end of night in each other’s embrace, "Can't believe you're my boyfriend" she exclaimed. "Can't believe you're my girlfriend either." I exclaimed back. "I've liked you since I've known you" she mumbled. "What?" I asked shocked. "Yeah, I've always had a crush on you. Teenage me would lose it right now if she saw" she said. "I'm sorry it took me so long" I muttered pressing a kiss against her lips. "better late then never" she laughed wrapping her arms around my neck, flipping me to straddle my hips. She bent down to kiss me again.
I could spend the rest of my life like this, if it meant I could have her forever.
Hope you had fun. Thank you for enjoying the story!!

Ooh! A wonderful interview with Rich Keeble who played Mr. Arnold (the one with the Doctor Who Annual :)) in S2! :)❤
Q: In Good Omens 2 you play Mr. Arnold, who runs the music shop on Whickber Street. Were you a fan of Good Omens before joining the cast, and is it challenging to take on such an iconic story which is already loved by a huge fanbase?
A: “There’s always pressure if you’re working on something with an existing fanbase and people might have an idea already as to how you should be approaching something. To be honest I was aware of the show but I hadn’t actually seen it before I was asked to get involved. I knew it was something special though! I remember talking to Tim Downie [Mr. Brown] about how when you tape for certain things you know if something’s a “good one”. Of course by the time I was on set I’d watched Season 1 and read the book.
I had an interesting route into the show actually: I was asked at the last minute to read the stage directions at the tableread on Zoom, and Douglas [Mackinnon] the director called me up to discuss pronunciations of the character names etc. To prepare further I quickly watched the first episode on Prime Video, and I was very quickly drawn into it. A couple of hours later I was on a Zoom call with David [Tennant], Michael [Sheen] (with his bleached hair), Neil [Gaiman], Douglas and the whole team, including Suzanne [Smith] and Glenda [Mariani] in casting. After that readthrough I asked my agent to try and see if she could shoehorn me in and she came back with a tape for Mr. Arnold saying “you play the piano don’t you…?” They wanted me to demonstrate my musical playing ability, so I rented a rehearsal studio room in Brixton for an hour and filmed myself playing piano (and drums just in case), then I did my scenes a couple of different ways and I guess it wasn’t too terrible!”
Q: During episode five you mimed to music written by series composer David Arnold alongside a real string quartet – this must have been very immersive! How did it feel to work with David, and bring the ball to life?
A: “I actually didn’t meet David Arnold sadly, but I did work with Catherine Grimes, the music supervisor who is lovely. David was at the London screening but I missed an opportunity to go and say hello to him which I kicked myself about.
I remember before I was in Scotland there was a bit of uncertainty as to whether I would need to play anything for real or not, so I practised every day playing loads of Bach and other music I thought was era-appropriate just in case they asked me to do anything on the fly. So yes, it was very immersive as you say! They sent me three pieces of music to learn which I practised in my Edinburgh apartment on a portable folding keyboard thing I bought. They introduced me to the string quartet (John, Sarah, Alison and Stephanie) and I tried to hang out with them when I could. On the day we all had earpieces to mime to. I had to mime while listening out for a cue from Nina [Sosanya] from across the room, then deliver my dialogue and carry on playing, which was tricky! The quartet and I helped each other out actually: Douglas would say something like “let’s go from a minute into the second piece of music”, I’d look at the sheet music and whisper “where the hell is that?” and one of the quartet would say “we think that’s bar 90” or something. Here’s a little bit of trivia: the shooting overran and the string quartet couldn’t make the last day, so they found some incredible lookalikes to replace them for the scene when we get lead out of the bookshop through all the demons, although I think they also kept them deliberately off camera.”
Q: What did you think of your music shop when you first saw the set? Did you have a favourite poster or prop?
A: “I thought it was incredible! It could’ve been an actual music shop with all the instruments hanging up with the “Arnold’s” price tags on. The attention to detail was incredible, well IS incredible as I understand it’s all still there. It’s hard to pick a favourite to be honest. I did a little video walkaround on my phone at the time so maybe I’ll post that if I won’t get in trouble. Interestingly the shop interior itself was elsewhere on the set to the shop entrance you see from the street. You walk out of Aziraphale’s shop, over the road, through the door of the music shop and… there’s nothing.”
Q: Mr. Arnold is tempted into the ball by a Doctor Who Annual and is playing the theme in the music shop scene – are you a fan of Doctor Who in real life? And what was it like making those jokes and references in front of the Tenth Doctor David Tennant?
A: “I’ve always dipped in and out of Doctor Who over the years since Sylvestor McCoy, who was doing it when I first became aware of it when I was growing up. Even if you’re not a fan it’s one of those shows you can’t really get away from, so doing that particular scene in front of David was really fun, and of course Douglas had directed Doctor Who as well. Apart from the amusing situation of two supposed Doctor Who fans talking about Doctor Who without realising they’re in the company of a Doctor Who, I also seem to remember Michael being the one to suggest that he would deliver his “due to problems at the BBC” line directly to David.
Oh, and I think it was actually my idea to grab the annual off the harpsichord before joining the queue behind Crowley at the end of the ballroom scene (which we’d shot weeks earlier at this point). When we were blocking it out and rehearsing I knew I had to leave my position and get to the front for my “surrender the angle” line, and then later it just felt like I wouldn’t leave without the annual so I ran back through everyone to grab it. Nobody seemed to have a problem with me doing that so I just carried on doing it when we shot it! I do remember it being a fun set with Douglas and the team being very open to suggestions.”
Q: How did you balance filming both Good Omens and BBC Ghosts at the same time?
A: “Luckily both shows were a joy to work on, and everyone seems to know about both of them. We were shooting them in early 2022 and I also had a little part in an ITV drama called ‘Stonehouse’, starring Matthew Macfadyen. I usually never know when I’m working next so to have three great TV jobs at once was very unusual. There was all this date juggling and I actually almost had to turn down Ghosts due to clashes. Luckily both shows had to move some dates so it worked out. But yes, I spent two weeks up in Scotland shooting all that Good Omens ballroom stuff, then I came back down to London to do Ghosts, knowing I’d be back up to shoot my scenes in the music shop in a couple of weeks. Now, when I found out who was playing my wife in Ghosts I couldn’t believe it: Caroline Sheen – Michael Sheen’s cousin! She was amazing and that was another great set in general. I say “set”, but it’s all filmed in that house which surprised me. I’d worked with Kiell [Smith-Bynoe] and Jim [Howick] before, and Charlotte [Ritchie] was in the Good Omens radio play a few years ago and a big fan of the book. Charlotte’s very musical of course and we got talking about my folding keyboard I had for practising my Good Omens stuff, and she ended up setting it up in the house for us to have a play on!
Now, when we’d shot all our internal scenes there was this big storm forecast, and our external scenes were scheduled for the day of the storm, so that had to be moved into the next week. It meant I ended up shooting those scenes outside the house, then going straight back up to Scotland to shoot the Good Omens music shop scene the next day! When I mentioned to Michael I’d just worked with Caroline he said “ooh she’s in Ghosts is she!” and revealed that she’d texted him about me which was rather surreal. Then later after the Ghosts wrap party Kiell gave me a part in his Channel 4 Blap, so at the time I felt like I was killing it career wise, but the industry quietened a bit after that and my workload eased off over the year so I was in my overdraft by November.”
Q: What are your plans for the future – can we expect to see you in something else soon?
A: “This year, after a bit of a quiet start, I was very fortunate to work on a Disney+ show called Rivals which stars… David Tennant! I think I’m allowed to say my character is called Brian, and I shot five episodes so that was another really amazing job, and great to work with David again (I told him he must be my good luck charm, although I hope he’s not sick of me). That should be out at some point in late 2024. Other than that I’ve filmed a few other bits I presume will be out next year, one of which is called Truelove on Channel 4 which actually looks really good. That starts early January. Of course now Season 3 of Good Omens has been greenlit, I would love Neil and the gang to have me back on that… but I can only keep my fingers crossed!”

slash and femreader get high and slash brings her to band practise but they dont do much and end up doing it on the couch in front of everyone else
A/n: read for bitchy Slash at the end 😘
Warnings: smut, use of drugs (heavily implied, it doesn’t show them being used), voyeurism, riding, angry Axl (he throws a cereal box), whiny Slash, squirting, if you think I missed anything let me know otherwise enjoy!
“Oh, I’m so sorry for wanting to get my fucking work done!” Axl yelled, throwing a box of cereal across the room. It hit the wall and spilled everywhere.
“Oh, cmon man, that was, like, expensive.” Slash mumbled.
Guns was living in the storage unit behind Sunset at the time, occasionally crashing on girlfriends couches. Slash was currently living with you and he thought it would be a good idea to get high before going to band practice.
You thought he was stupid, you still did, but weed was weed, and Slash had good weed.
You were leaning against him on the makeshift bed, giggling as Axl yelled. He was pissed, rightfully so, his guitarist was high as a kite and couldn’t keep his hands off his girlfriend, who was equally as high.
Axl glared at him and took a several threatening strides over until he was towering over the both you. “I swear to god, if you don’t get your fucking shit together-!” He paused, thinking of something. “I’ll fuck your girl and make you fucking watch.”
Slash thought about for a good long few minutes before smiling widely and giggling himself. “You could watch.” He said, hands moving with more need now as he tried to get your clothes off.
Axl groaned and stormed out, officially done with the band for the day, the rest didn’t mind and kept coming up with new jams.
It took a lot of fumbling but you ended up naked, Slash didn’t bother much with his own clothes, he got you in his lap and on his cock, it was good enough with his jeans pushed halfway down his thighs.
Izzy and Duff were still working on something but it was hard enough without their lead guitarist, not to mention Steven had stopped drumming, staring wide eyed and slack jawed as your cunt took Slash in, glistening from the light hanging from the ceiling.
You leaned into Slash, your back against his chest and giving the guys a perfect view of you with your legs spread, knees hooked over Slash’s thighs.
Slash was doing his best, arms wrapped around you and rolling his hips up into yours, granted it worked, but he got horny when he was high, more so than normal and he was already bad when he was sober. It took longer for him to start crying, usually by the third or fourth orgasm, but he was barely bringing himself to one.
He was whining in your ear, asking you to help, to do something, but what he was doing was working for you, his crying only aided in your little ride.
“Come on, that’s just mean.” Duff said, looking over the both of you, seeing Slash hide his face in the crook of your neck.
“You’re torturing the poor guy.” Izzy said with a laugh.
“Do you wanna help?” You asked, words slurred and mumbled. You brought your hand to Slash’s head, running your fingers through his hair, encouraging him to keep going even if you could feel him pulsing inside you. You couldn’t see it, but if you had to take a guess his dick was a bright red and aching for release.
“I’ll help you!” Steven chimed, eagerly getting up from his seat behind his drums and coming over to you. Slash was crying, begging you not to let him touch you, you had fun teasing him but you loved him before anything.
Steven kneeled in front of you but you stopped him, pushing on his chest with your foot. He couldn’t care less, he got a front row seat and that’s all he could focus on, your hole taking Slash so good.
The guitarist calloused hand came down to rub your clit, knowing when you came your walls would flutter around him so deliciously, squeezing him just right and he’d get to cum.
Unfortunately for him you knew exactly what he was doing. You let him tie the knot in your gut, a ball of heat ready to snap but as it came undone you stood up, standing barely an inch from Stevens face which was soon drenched as you squirted on him.
Slash lurched as you pulled away from him, weakly tugging at your hips as you touched yourself, knees buckling under you.
Steven was completely caught off guard but could only smile as he felt you going down his throat, Duff and Izzy watching not far away either in awe and envy.
You sat back down, flopping onto the couch beside Slash and relishing in the scene you’d just created, Slash’s soft sobs and bitchy whined music to your ears and helping you fall asleep.

MEMORIES - minjeong
memories that will forever stay in your mind, no matter how painful they get.
TAGS - trainee! winter x f! reader, angst, and a drop of fluff in the beginning
WORDCOUNT - 2500~
WARNINGS - maybe a swear? i can't remember
A/N - yall... enjoy 🤐 !
you always knew that there was a possibility that minjeong would have to leave. that she’d have to forget her past to live out her future.
the front door to your apartment opened, sending a resounding squeak throughout the small space, alerting you of your girlfriend's entrance.
“how was practice today?” you called out from your room, getting up from the covers of your bed, and stretching your body, awaiting her response.
a mumble could be heard from the front door, and you heard her shuffling around, presumably taking her shoes off and moving towards the kitchen.
you waddled out from your room to see her slouched form searching the fridge for sustenance. a pang resonated from your heart at the sight of your girlfriend tired from the hours of practising beforehand, so you approached her slowly from behind.
“are you okay, baby?” you laid your head on her shoulder and whispered into her ear, trying to warm her up from the cold weather outside.
“just tired,” she said, leaning further into your body heat.
“did you eat today?” you asked, grabbing her wrist to lead her onto the couch, seating her next to you.
“just a little bit,” she started, her body lowering into the couch and into herself. “the food you packed for me in the morning, it was really good.” minjeong turned to you and sent you a weak smile followed by a kiss on the cheek. “thank you, by the way.”
you pulled out your phone from your pocket, immediately switching to a food ordering app.
“what would you like for dinner?” you questioned, eyes taking in all the possibilities, as your finger scrolled upwards endlessly. “there’s a lot of places to order from right now. i guess it’s because it's like the perfect time. maybe we can get-.” you stopped speaking, eyeing minjeong’s face suspiciously.
“are you even listening to me right now?”
“baby, you should know i’m always listening to you. but you’ve been ordering out for me so much recently, i’m worried about your bank account.”
you chuckled at her qualms and pulled her impossibly closer to you, facing her and leaning your head down to touch her nose with your own. she smelt like coffee and a specific type of warmth you could never feel, which made you smile softly to yourself.
“i’ve told you before, minjeong, i’m starting work soon, you don’t need to worry about money.” you lifted your head to stare at her, “especially when it concerns you.”
she pouted and blushed, turning away from you, “stop trying to smooth talk me.”
you raised your hands up in protest, an affronted look washing over your face.
“I guess it's just natural, because I swear I wasn’t doing anything.”
the corners of her eyes crinkled and she laughed at your words, seemingly forgetting about her gruelling hours of being a trainee just a couple of hours ago.
you exited your apartment door, squinting through the falling snow to see your girlfriend waiting by the steps, eyes focused on her phone. a smile broke out through your face. it had been days since you had last seen her, and your mood wasn’t the best it could've been. the girl's face was flushed red from the cold and you slightly frowned as you stepped down towards her, not appreciating your girlfriend's discomfort.
her eyes drifted upwards towards your unstable movement. you tried to avoid the pools of ice on the steps, sounds of curses leaving your mouth during the short journey. minjeong tried to smile at the sight, but the cold of winter had seeped into her body, and the muscles in her face didn’t want to contract, no matter how cute she thought you looked bundled up in winter gear that may have been too excessive. who was she to talk though, when she was freezing, knees practically buckling and toes barely wiggling through her boots. maybe she should listen to your rants about “cold weather”, and “keeping her cute self warm” more often.
“minjeongie!” you yelled as you finally made it to the sidewalk, slightly jogging towards her, but remembering to mind the slippery pavement. “i’ve missed you so much.” your voice got lighter as you pulled her in by the waist for a tight hug, dropping your head into the nook of her neck. her exposed neck seemed to be getting wet, and she stepped backwards rapidly, searching into your eyes. her eyes widened at the sight of you crying, and muttering things she couldn't understand.
“y/n, slow down.” she said, and pulled you in again, rubbing the back of your head, calming you down. she started to make out the words you were saying – something along the lines of “i missed you”, and “i can’t be away from you”.
she giggled and stepped back again, holding your gloved hand in her own.
the two of you started walking to the cafe you had picked out earlier this week, but you suddenly stopped in the middle of the sidewalk, ignoring the glares other people walking by gave you.
“minjeong,” you started, slightly moving to the side to give space to others. your brows furrowed as you looked her up and down. “why don’t you have a scarf on.” your voice sounded serious, and you tapped your foot impatiently like a child, awaiting her answer.
“i didn’t think it’d be that cold-”
she barely got her sentence out before you started unwrapping your scarf from your neck and laying it across hers instead. you couldn’t tell if the red of her face was from the cold weather or your actions.
“what have i said about this, baby!” you whined. she couldn’t help but roll her eyes at your high pitched voice and brace for the incoming scolding.
“you can’t get sick,” you emphasised the second word, and if your hands weren’t currently in your pocket, you would have slapped them together to further move the point along.
“you're a trainee. you need to be in tip top shape everyday. and you already know i'd be terrible at taking care of you if you got sick, so for me, and for yourself, please stay healthy.” your voice softened at the end, and she couldn’t help but nibble at the bottom of her lip, disappointed in herself. you noticed the action and relaxed your face, pulling her in for a hug.
after repeatedly consoling minjeong, and telling her you loved her, the two of you continued the short journey to the cafe. you grabbed her wrist, switching your positions on the sidewalk so you walked closer to the road, giggling at your act of chivalry.
“you might as well just call me your knight in shining armour,” you noted, and your girlfriend started to chuckle, lowering her face into your scarf inhaling deeply, so you smiled, glad that she was feeling better.
over the course of the last couple of months, you had unfortunately noticed you and minjeong’s relationship becoming more and more strained. days, even weeks of having zero contact, harsh moods from your respective work environments being shitty, and even deliberately ignoring each other leading to frustrated arguments. it was worrying you, since it had never been this bad, even in the beginning of minjeong’s trainee days, but you knew the two of you would be able to get through it.
you woke up to minjeong shifting around in your bed, as she had stayed the night, and you convinced her to sleep with you even if the mood was tense.
you squeezed your eyes shut to block out the morning light and pulled minjeong closer into you, snuggling into her.
“y/n,” minjeong’s raspy voice filtered into your head, and you murmured a response, choosing to stay quiet and enjoy the sun’s rays reaching you from your window.
“y/n, i need to get up. you do too.” she tried again, inching away from your tight hold. you groaned, and opened an eye, slapping your hand around to find wherever you had put your phone the night before. you eventually hit it, and you pulled it closer to your face, viewing the time.
9:03 am.
even your phone’s lock screen of you and minjeong forming a heart together couldn’t calm you down before you leapt out of bed, already searching for clothes to wear.
“minjeong!” you yelled, pulling up your jeans as you searched for a shirt to wear. her body laid still in your bed, chest slowly moving up and down. you tried her name again and this time she scrunched her face, moving the arm that was thrown haphazardly above her head onto her stomach.
“baby, it's like 9:05. you have ten minutes to get ready, and to get to the studio.” even as you told minjeong the bad news, you were already late for your morning shift, so you quickly exited your room and ran into the kitchen, preparing minjeong’s lunch for her taxing day.
you could hear your girlfriend rushing to get ready through the walls of your apartment, and you let out a sigh, slowly untensing your body. you yelled a quick goodbye as you opened the door, also informing her of her lunch on the kitchen counter.
-
throughout the day, you sent minjeong random pictures and messages, whether it be about the annoying customers you were meeting, or your coworkers doing funny things. you frowned each time you picked up your phone to see no notifications from your girlfriend, but you sucked it up and summarised it to her being incredibly busy, so you went back to working.
finally returning back to your apartment, you slipped the key inside and opened the door. surprisingly, the lights were already on, meaning minjeong had already made it home. she rarely came home before you, so you smiled to yourself, getting ready to greet her.
your things made a thump on the ground as you dropped them tiredly, but you continued on your way into the living room, seeing your girlfriend’s unusually pale face staring at you.
“hi baby,” you started slowly, walking towards the couch, “are you alright?” you were worried, but tried not to show it in the shake of your voice.
“can you please sit down?” her voice was curt, and she patted the space next to her. you didn’t waste any time, speeding up to relax on the couch, uncomfortable with the tension in the room.
“minjeong-”
“i’m debuting.”
your heart stopped at the words. you felt as though the world had frozen over. the clock on the wall stopped ticking, the air conditioner’s constant wave of noise seemed dulled down, even the sun joined in on the heartbreak, deciding to become covered by clouds.
you should’ve been jumping up and down at the revelation – the both of you should've been honestly. but you both sat there in silence instead, staring at each other, waiting, for something, for anything, to be said.
you forced a smile onto your lips, “baby, that's amazing-”
“don’t.” her voice pierced your soul, and she set her jaw. her pupils, stared straight into yours, and peered into your thoughts.
“don’t lie to me. not like you’ve been doing recently.”
you went quiet at her words, and dropped your head down, gazing at your lap. your breaths came out shallow and breathy.
you sat there in silence– for who knows how long. but it was definitely long enough for your wet eyes to fill up with tears, and it was definitely long enough for minjeong to pull you into her, her body shaking uncontrollably with sobs, wetting your hair and the back of your shirt.
it was definitely long enough for the both of you to realise that no, things would not be alright.
-
“i've got this, you go rest.” you muttered as you started to cook dinner, urging your girlfriend to nap. “i know today has been hard on you, i don’t want you fainting on me.” you tried to get her to laugh, but her face was set in stone.
she nodded at the affirmation and walked towards your room. each step she took felt as though she was distancing herself away from you, but you swallowed down your fear and started to cook. you were known for over exaggerating things anyways. the two of you would be alright. everything would be just fine.
“do you know who your members are?” you asked, breaking the silence as you watched minjeong gather her suitcase, offing the light to her apartment. you sucked in a breath. this would be the last time you ever stepped foot in her apartment. the last time that you even came to this part of the city, probably. not that you would try to avoid it, but minjeong had always lived so far away from you, and now that she was moving into her company's building, there’d be no reason for you to come here anymore.
“of course i do.” she chuckled, raising an eyebrow at the seemingly thoughtless question.
“just wanted to make sure my baby would have people taking care of her.”
she flinched at the pet name, and you quickly apologised. it’s not as though the breakup was bad or anything. the two of you knew that it would be better this way. you wouldn’t have to worry about her not eating well enough (you still would), or her not replying to your texts. you wouldn’t even need to text her daily, asking if her practice went well, if she was enjoying the process, if she was excited for her concerts. staying in the relationship would’ve just been harder, and it was a tough pill to swallow, but one that was needed.
you held her hand as she lowered herself and her suitcase down the steps leading up into her apartment building. it reminded you of just months ago, when you would watch her as she entered the doors, making sure she got home safe. she’d turn around, giving you a wave and flashing her wide smile, and you’d giggle to yourself as you walked yourself back to your car. you sniffled quietly, hoping she didn’t hear. the two of you promised not to cry – you had promised not to make it worse than it already was.
“how long until the driver’s here?” you asked, your voice came out stronger than expected, and you pumped your fist secretly, proud of yourself.
“in about three minutes.”
your breath hitched. three minutes left of minjeong. three more minutes until those times you spent together the past year would just be memories, bittersweet memories that would hopefully be forgotten. you didn’t want to remember something that you could never get back.
you heard a whimper as you were pulled into her embrace. she held your waist, and you held her tightly in response, burying your face into her neck. you rocked her back and forth, shifting your weight onto one foot at a time. you felt your mind letting go – you no longer had the strength to stay strong for her. tears welled up into your eyes and you let them run free, coating every surface of your face and minjeong’s shoulder. her own tears were uncontrollable too, and she hiccuped every so often, trying to fuse into your body.
“i don’t regret a thing.” you whispered into her ear, voice cracking midway through the phrase.
“i will never, ever, regret a thing.” you made sure that she heard you. you needed her to hear you, because you didn’t know if she’d ever hear you again.
“do you promise to come back?”
“i don’t know, y/n.” she hiccuped, her nose sniffling as she tried to take back her own tears. she had promised not to make it worse than it already was.
the taxi drove into view, and your heart leapt from its cage, as if it was trying to run away with minjeong. “i’ll try," she started, "i’ll try, and i’ll try, and i’ll try again, just for you, y/n.”
so, minjeong decided to start trying at that moment. she tried to hold back her tears as you broke down in her arms. she tried not to look back at you after waving goodbye , entering the taxi as the driver put her suitcase into the trunk, and so you decided to try too.
to try and repair the broken heart that was just handed to you.
A/N - trying to write angst, but i almost didn't finish it because i didn't want them to separate 🙁

rescue me - m.m
Warnings: Smut, 18+, praise, tiny bit of degradation, choking, blowjob, oral (m and f receiving)
Pairing: Eminem x fem!reader
You didn’t actually have a lot of lines in the song, most of it was just repeating what Em said, or moaning. Not that you were complaining, your manager said this rapper dude was big, apparently, so you’d do the music video and the singing. It paid, anyways.
You’d practised a few times with Em, and you’re voices had matched each other perfectly well, but the thing that could become a slight issue would be the music video. After all, you found Em incredibly hot, and, well, he’d be lying if he didn’t say you were damn hot yourself.
The set had a purposefully seductive setting, candles lit in the corner, in an all white room, a bed in the middle. You’d gone through the script for it, it was a simple concept, you’d start off against the wall, and then the scene would change to the room with the bed and then to the doorbell scene.
Em was, unsurprisingly, nowhere to be seen as you stood on the set, wearing the black lingerie-like outfit, a diamond choker round your neck and a loose white unbuttoned shirt hanging off your arms. “Hey,” a voice made you turned around, your breath hitching as Em strutted on, wearing his white top and jeans.
He almost paused in his tracks as he saw you, in the outfit he had purposefully asked the wardrobe to set up for you to wear, when he’d have you on the bed, all spread out for him, looking so pretty under him…even if it was just for a music video. Who knew? It could be the only time he’d ever have you under him like that.
God he was glad he’d chosen that outfit for you, you looked amazing…
“Hi,” you finally said, the crew too busy fussing over perfecting the set to notice the tension between you and Em as he leaned against the wall, slightly awkward. “You, uh, excited?” he asked, clearing his throat. “I guess,” you said, voice matching his own nervousness, a fake smile on your face.
Fuck, why had he chosen you for this? You in a sex outfit, him in his own hot selection of clothing, a purposefully seductive setting along with filthy lyrics…it was the recipe for a baby disaster. He nodded, turning his head to stare and watch the crew instead. He remembered all those nights in the studios.
All those hours spent with you, late into the night, thinking of lyrics…lyrics he knew would make your core burn with pleasure, when he’d been so close to getting you how he wanted, on his cock- his thoughts were snapped out by the director clapping his hands and gesturing for you both to come to the scene.
The video started off well, your eyes wide as you tried to maintain a natural expression, your body pressed to the wall, one of Em’s hands trailing one your chest, your stomach, your collarbone, before the director moved onto the bed scene. “We’ll film part two tomorrow, yes?” the director asked.
“Alright,” Em said, “I’m gonna stay in the studio for a bit, you wanna stay?” he asked you. You thought about it for a moment, mouth opening then closing before you settled on a simple nod, your thighs burning with need. You sat on the bed on the set, watching Em as he walked onto the other side of the room.
He didn’t look up, his eyes on his musical equipment, sliding buttons and clicking things, none of which you really understood, but god he looked good. The orange flicker of the candles illuminated your face from the bed, sending an angelic glow across you as you watched, legs clicking together.
You watched as he left to some room to search for headphones, and you just ended up going on your phone. It was probably gonna be like every other night at the studio. Painfully close to sleeping together, but him just ending up with his hand wrapped around his cock, wishing it was your lips, or your fingers stuffed inside your soaking core, wishing it was him.
“You look good, by the way,” a voice interrupted your thoughts as Em sat down on the bed beside you, one of his legs over the edge of the bed. “Thanks,” you said, “you’re decent too,”. He raised a brow, a slightly playful smile on his face. “Just decent?” Em smirked, running a finger down your jaw.
“Oh shut up,” you huffed, not moving away from his finger. You moved head slightly back so he could trace small shapes across your skin, over the diamond collar, down below it onto the top of your chest….further…further down to the material clothing your core.
You could feel the way your breath caught in your throat as his finger circled over the tight material, tracing small patterns onto the inside of your thigh, moving to your clothed core. “You’re soaking,” he said, his lips brushing the shell of your ear as you closed your eyes, lashing fluttering against your cheek.
“Can’t even control yourself, can you?” he said, voice slightly forced and hoarse, and you could tell from that alone that his mood had shifted to a more…sensual sort of mindset. “How badly d’you need me?” he asked, dipping his head to press kisses to your neck and collarbone. “So bad,” you forced out, words slurring together in your need for him.
“That’s pathetic, Y/N,” Em said, littering your neck with kisses, moving to suck a deep red mark on your collarbone, visible to everyone no matter what you wore, “you’re supposed to play hard to get, you’re supposed to have me begging for your little cunt,” he slowly moved your lingerie to the side, running his finger through your folds.
His eyes travelled down your body, his hand on your waist as he took in every detail of your - from your gorgeous bright eyes, to your gorgeous body. His hand slowly met with your chin as he pulled you into a gentle kiss, his lips moving ever so softly against yours. God, the mood was about to change so damn much.
He slowly moved your lingerie out the way, not too much, yet enough for him to slip his fingers underneath. Your eyes closed firmly as you felt the pad of his finger, gentle at first, before picking up speed and roughness as he toyed with your clit, a smirk jumping to his face at the look of pure pleasure across your gorgeous features.
His lips hooked onto your neck, sucking softly as he left a mark, his large hand travelling through your hair before he pulled back, slipping his wet fingers inside your mouth. Your eyes rolled back slightly as he pushed to the back of your throat, a gagging sound muffled against the bottom of his fingers. “Good girl,” he whispered, letting your suck on his digits softly, before he moved his other hand down.
“Em,” you gasped, voice choked as he circled your clit, his other hand moving to push you down onto your back, your body bouncing on the softness of the mattress as he leaned down, half forcing your knees apart so he could sit between your legs, his eyes on your heat.
Your back arched, a moan on your lips as he tongue made contact with your clit, slowly circling it, his lips sucking round against your juicy folds. “Em, f-fuck,” you gasped, your hand moving to the back of his head, his tongue moving to your entrance as his nose brushed your sensitive bundle of nerves.
He hummed into your core, the sound vibrating through your body, your eyes fluttering closed once again as he fucked his tongue in and out of your entrance, curling round as much as he could, his lips shimmering with your juices. “Em, right there,” you pushed his head a bit, his nose hitting your clit once more.
“You’re needy,” he said, moving from between your legs as a whine of protest left your lips. God, he was so frustrating, why couldn’t he just give you what you wanted? “Whinging doesn’t get you anywhere, Y/N,” he said, his hand wrapping round your throat, the assortment of rings on his fingers catching the golden glow of the candles.
All you could do was moan at the squeeze around your throat, the pressure not enough to hurt, but to restrict your airway enough for Em to make sure you knew who was in control. It certainly wasn’t you, anyways. “Move,” he said, tugging on your neck as his other hand worked on undoing his belt.
You knew exactly what he was doing as he cupped your cheek, his belt sliding off as his cock sprung free against his abdomen, hard and thick. “You wanna touch it, hm?” Em smirked, the longing in your eyes only heightened as you watched his when slowly trace over the vein on the underside, pumping himself slowly.
“Yeah,” you said breathlessly, leaning forwards as he sighed. “Still haven’t learn your lesson,” he said, but he didn’t move back, moving his hand so you could trace the vein with your tongue, a groan leaving his lips as he moved his hand to the back of your head, his other hand still on your neck, squeezing softly.
“Fuck, how many other guys have you done this too?” he asked, watching as you moved your to lick over his throbbing head, using one hand to slowly spread his pre-cum over his length, your tongue working on his head, slowly tracing it, almost tantalisingly slow. “Y/N, I swear to god, I’m gonna-,” he said, cut off by his own sharp moan as you took his whole head in your mouth.
Em had been the one deciding all the rules earlier, now you got your own control. A low hiss left his lips, rumbling through his chest as you took more and more of his length, inch by inch, your tongue swirling around the underside of his cock, a small bulge forming as his head hit the back of your throat.
You may have even wrong about you being the one in control, however, as Em moved his hand from your throat to bunch your hair at the back of your head, holding you how he wanted you as he rocked his hips, his tip snapping into the back of your throat.
Your eyes watered slightly at the intensity, the lewd sounds of your gagging only heightening his need for you. Finally, he pushed you back, his chest lined with a sheen of sweat as you scrambled onto the bed, your legs parting almost as if they were made for him, begging for his presence.
“Fuckin’ needy,” he groaned again, his eyes on your wet core as he ran a finger over your heat once more, extracting a string of whines, your back arching into his hand as he pumped two fingers in and out of you, the silk, velvety walls of your core wrapping round him easily.
You whimpered as he pulled hair fingers back, his hands either side of your head, veins flexing along his forearm as he pushed slowly into you, your moans and his groans combining into a noise of pure, unadulterated pleasure, your legs thrown over his shoulders as he held himself on you.
“Fuck, your so tight,” he groaned, his head falling down slightly, his forehead resting against yours as the heat of your bodies combines, his body shimmering with a thin layer of sweat over his intricate tattoos and muscles. “Move…please,” you managed to choke out, your hands moving onto his shoulders, squeezing softly.
“Fuck, anything f’you,” he said, voice deeper than usual as he started moving slowly, the moisture in your core making it easy for him to do so, slick and almost better then lube, his cock sliding in and out of you easily. “How the fuck are you so wet?” Em muttered under his breath, more to himself than you.
“That’s wh-what happens when a chick has someone l-like you on top of them,” you stuttered, voice slurred and diluted with the essence of your pleasure, your body shaking with ecstasy, and he’d barely even moved. “Yeah? How long have you wanted this, hm?” he asked, “how many guys have you fucked since we met?”.
“N-None,” you said, your cunt clenching round his thick member involuntarily, your eyes rolling back softly. “You better be telling me the truth, Y/N,” he said, his lips dropping back to your ear, tongue tracing the shell of your ear softly as you moaned.
You could feel your moans getting louder and more intense as the air thickened, the heat of your bodies near unbearable as he picked up the pace, his hips snapping into yours at an ungodly pace, your body bouncing with each thrust. At this rate, he was going to leave a mark.
Maybe more than that - there was nothing heard in the room except your moans and whimpers, his groans and the lewd sound of his thick cock plunging into your heat. A confused frown jumped to your face as Em moved one of his hands down, further down, trailing over the warm, exposed skin of your waist and thighs…
“Shhhh, sweetie,” he mumbled as his finger circled your clit, a squeal of shock escaping you. It was probably the hundredth time he’d done that during your little session, yet it never failed to being that damn hot expression of shock onto you damn gorgeous face.
“Oh f-fuck,” you gasped as Em ran a hand over the bump in your stomach, his cock bulging thick and big inside of you, slamming into your soaking wet core repeatedly, your body bouncing, his hand resting on your throat as he used his other hand to grope your chest softly.
“Do you have any idea how many times I’ve gotten off to just imagining you like this?” he groaned, his head dipping to once again speak into your ear. “Me too,” you whimpered, your hands moving down to his back, nails dragging sown his skin as you chased your orgasm.
“‘s okay, angel,” Em said, his voice dropping to a more soothing tone, contrasting the jackhammering pace of his hips immensely, “you’re close, yeah?” he asked as you nodded, your body shaking and hands squeezing at his muscles. “Please,” was all you could choke out as he nodded. “I know, I know,” he said, his voice soft yet still commanding the dominance he wanted to make sure you had.
You can feel yourself tightening round him, squeezing his thick cock tighter than you ever thought you could, eyes shut, lashes fluttering as your body shot into small spasms, your nails digging into his biceps as your orgasm flooded through, like a sudden shock to your system.
You could feel him getting closer and closer as he groaned, his pace speeding up, cheeks tinged a soft pink as his thrusts became sloppier and sloppier, a final groan on his lips as his cum shot into you in thick, hot spurts, spilling down your thighs as you kept your legs over his shoulders, both of you panting.
“F-Fuck,” he groaned, almost in shock at his own orgasm. “God, you’re s-so fucking beautiful,” he said a few seconds later, pushing himself up on his arms so he could admire how you looked under him, panting, spent, and perfect for him.
You hissed as Em slowly moved you to lay on his chest, his lips coming to press kisses to your foreheads, strings of praises falling from his lips. “So good baby,” he mumbled, “‘so fuckin’ good f’me,” his quickened breathing slowing down, as did yours.

Round Fourteen - Dutch GP 2023
It was the 1-2 finish you should have had a year ago and thankfully Max didn’t crash into you this time. Standing beside him on the podium as the home crowd cheered almost brought tears to your eyes. It wasn’t your ‘home’ race like it was for Max but the people had adopted you under their flags and banners anyway.
“What’s your plans tonight, zusje?”
“It’s date night,” you said with a grin before handing over the jeroboam bottle of bubbly to your team. They deserved a piece of the celebration for their hard work on the car and you didn’t want to get drunk before the night began. “Charles is heading to Maranello tomorrow for testing so we are going to celebrate our first anniversary tonight.”
Max’s mouth parted in shock and he brushed a hand through his damp hair. “It has been a year already? Did anyone remind Lando?”
You rolled your eyes at his theatrics. “He’s not that bad at remembering dates.”
“Not that bad,” he echoed with a mocking tone. “He would be screwed without you and Charles to remind him.”
“Then it’s a good thing he has us,” you said as you waved to the crowd one last time before heading off the platform and back to the garage. You parted ways from Max as you went to the Aston Martin hospitality and he diverted to the Red Bull one. He was going to visit Jos while he was in the country, and you were glad he didn’t ask you to come, it saved you both from the awkwardness of the situation.
Lance looked defeated as he sat alone in a booth, everyone giving him a wide berth. Steering away from the path to your room, you took a seat opposite him.
“Tough race,” you commented softly.
His shoulders bounced with a laugh that held no humour. “Not for you, you got points.” His hands fidgeted with a napkin and he tore it to little shreds as he glared at the engineers walking into the motorhome.
“You looked like you had a good break, did you do any sim work while you were on holiday?”
His lips twisted into a sneer and he shoved the rubbish across the table, the paper drifting onto your lap like snowflakes. “I can have a break and still keep up with my training.”
You rolled your eyes as he pushed off from the table. “That’s not what I meant, Lance. I practised with the new upgrades last week and it really changed the drivability. I was just making conversation.”
“Sure you were,” he huffed as he grabbed his bag from under the table and left.
Cleaning the napkin off your suit, you stood up and felt your stomach grumble at the smell coming from the kitchen. One more stop on the way to your room, you thought as you headed to the chefs.
“You have hardly touched your food,” Charles said with a frown as he saw your plate still full while his and Lando’s were empty. “Do you not like it?”
You clutched your stomach and pushed the plate away. “I ate too much before we left, damn chef’s were making waffles in hospitality.”
Lando chuckled at your weakness but happily took your plate and stabbed his fork into the schnitzel. “So I guess you won’t want dessert then, pretty sure I saw stroopwafels on the menu.”
You perked up even with your stomach bloating and protesting the thought of any more food. “I might find room to fit one or two more.”
“I thought so,” he chuckled before reaching under the table for his bag and producing a gift box. “I know we said no presents but I’m terrible at listening and got one anyway.”
“Me too,” you said as you reached into your handbag.
Charles shook his head, and you almost believed he had followed the rule he had set, but his lips tipped up. “My present is already hanging in our bedroom for when you get home tomorrow.”
“Is it a nude?” Lando asked with a nod. “Please tell me it's nude. Blink twice if it’s a nude.”
“It’s not a nude, mon cher,” Charles clarified with a laugh.
“Dammit.” He sent Charles a smile to show he wasn’t actually as disappointed as he made it seem and Charles reached across the table to hold his hand.
“Here, you two can open this,” you said as you slid the box towards their hands. “I’ve never had a first anniversary so I didn’t really know what to get but I saw this and thought it was kind of fitting…” You fell silent as Charles untied the bow and Lando lifted the lid. “But if you don’t like it I can get something else…”
Lando reached for one of the items first, lifting the chain up so he could see the pendant that hung on it, identical to the other two necklaces. Charles picked his one up next and examined the detail that had been masterfully engraved into the white gold.
“It’s a trinity knot,” you said as you pulled a card out from under the last necklace, yours. “There’s a whole lot of symbolism in it like the past, present and future, but I like that it's just like us, you know, three connected. It’s stupid, isn’t it, I’ll take them back.” You felt like an idiot as you reached for them but they both pulled away before you could swipe it from their grasp.
“Hey, this is mine,” Lando huffed as he clutched it to his chest. “Get your own.”
“We love it,” Charles assured you as he took your hand and kissed your knuckles. “I think we were both stunned, in a good way, mon amour.”
“Not me, I just liked hearing her ramble,” Lando chuckled and you sent him a dirty look. “It’s adorable, love.”
“You suck,” you groaned as your cheeks heated.
“I do, asked Charles.”
“Will you help me put it on?” Charles asked as he held his up, ignoring Lando’s cheeky comment.
You rose from your seat and walked behind Charles, unclasping the necklace before draping it around his neck. The chains had been made longer since both of your boyfriends had thick necks from their training and when you let it go the trinity knot settled over the centre of his chest. Dipping your head down, you kissed him sweetly and whispered, “Happy anniversary, baby.”
While you were up, you took Lando’s and did the same before he grabbed the last necklace and patted his lap. You were grateful the restaurant had been hired out for the night so you could have the privacy to share the intimate moment as you sat down. His fingers were warm against your skin and you smiled as the cold chain balanced out the heat. It wasn’t enough to quell the fire that started when he kissed your nape where the clasp locked together.
“I love you,” he whispered as his hands started to drift up your thighs. “How about we skip dessert and head back to the hotel?”
“What about your gift?” Charles asked, rattling the box in his ear to try to guess what it was.
“Bring it,” Lando winked. “I’ll come in handy for what I have planned.”
Round Fifteen - Monza GP
You had felt off since FP1. There wasn’t anything wrong, you just didn’t feel right. Your mother pressed the back of her hand to your forehead as you curled up on your couch and napped between the practices, but you didn’t have a fever.
“I’m just tired,” you mumbled as you pulled your cap down over your face to block out the lights. “I’ll be fine after a little sleep.”
She had disappeared after refilling your drink bottle and went to visit Charles since it was his team’s home race. He was feeling more nervous than usual with the added pressure of the tifosi out in force and he wanted to make them proud, make Ferrari proud.
“Hey, love, wake up,” Lando coaxed you awake, a frown on his face at how long it had taken. You were like Charles, who, unless completely drunk, was a light sleeper. “It’s time for practice.”
“Shit,” you groaned as you saw the time, still a little lethargic and drowsy. “I haven’t even warmed up. Why didn’t anyone wake me earlier?”
“Kristian tried, but he came and found me. I think you would have killed him if he found an air horn to wake you. Are you feeling okay?”
You nodded as you sat up and stretched your back. Accepting his hands to pull you up, you used the momentum to crash into his chest and snake your arms around his waist. “I’m fine, but if you want to piggyback me so I can sleep on the walk then I will love you forever.”
“You are already going to love me forever,” he smirked confidently before it faded away and he pouted his lips, his brows softening above his smouldering eyes. “Could you ever hate this face?”
“I hate it when you do that,” you groaned as you felt your body awaking in response. “Goddammit, now I’m horny.”
“Good, at least that means you are wide awake now, come on, time to go.”
You would like to say the weekend improved after that but the car really struggled and you weren’t much better. You still bested Lance with your 9th place finish and another two points to the tally. It wasn’t much but it was enough to strain the already tense relationship with your teammate.
“I lost Charles,” you commented from your spot on Lando’s lap, having to talk right into his ear as the music was so loud. The nightclub was packed with Ferrari supporters and the two of you hidden in the VIP lounge were definitely the odd ones out.
“He’s over there,” Lando pointed out, spotting the head of dark hair making his way through the crowd back to you.
A round of boo’s started to grow towards the entrance and it drowned out the music as Max walked into the club. Even from across the floor you could see Max roll his eyes at the sound he was growing used to, but you rose from your comfortable seat as it grated it on your nerves. Dressed in a white shirt and jeans, you were grateful your brother didn’t arrive in Red Bull merch and antagonise the crowd further.
You shoved your way through the crowd and Charles changed his direction as he spotted you heading to the exit, intercepting you as you finally reached Max. “Shouldn’t you be celebrating your win?” you asked, elbowing a particularly annoying drunkard who was shouting at Max in Italian.
“They aren’t the same without you there.” His eyes widened and he caught your shoulder, tugging you into his side as the crowd swelled closer, the anger growing by the second as Charles stood in front and Lando covered your back. You could hardly breathe as you were surrounded by the three of them and Charles shouted back in Italian, but they weren’t listening to the man they had idolised only minutes earlier.
“We should get out of here,” Lando shouted to the group, the charged atmosphere bringing security inside. You were escorted out of the club and Max was quiet as he slid into the back of the SUV with you while Charles rode shotgun beside Lando. Worried eyes searched for yours in the rearview but you were frowning at your brother.
“Well, that was fun,” Charles broke the silence, twisting in his seat to look at Max too. “Are you alright?”
“I didn’t mean to spoil your evening,” he answered quietly, staring out at the street while Lando drove back to the hotel.
“It’s fine, we were going to head back soon,” Charles said with a shrug.
“I was getting tired anyway,” you added as you dropped your head on his shoulder and yawned. “I just want to have a break for a few days, but I can’t even have that.”
“Why not?” Max asked, since the next race was just under two weeks away in Singapore. Everyone was having a short break before the long cross-continental trip but given the wince he saw on Charles' face before he turned forwards in his seat, you weren’t one of them.
“Kristian,” you huffed resentfully.
“He still has you on that bullshit training programme? Tell him to fuck off.” Max shifted so your head could rest more comfortably. “Are you flying with me to Singapore?”
You shook your head and yawned again. “Charles has to fly with Vista for a promo.”
“And let me guess, you can’t really can’t go a few hours without him? What happened to bros before hoes.”
“Hey,” Charles feigned indignance and scowled at Max. “I can’t help it, I am so irresistible.”
Max gagged and reached for the car door. “Lando, let me out. I’ll see you at breakfast.”
Fortunately for him the hotel was in sight and Lando pulled into the turn, trying to park in the valet area while struggling with laughter. He hadn’t even put the SUV into park before Max’s door was opened and your pillow was gone with him.
Your stomach rumbled as you headed into the quiet hotel and you blamed Max for mentioning food as you entered your suite. “Where’s the menu for room service?”
“I don’t think anything here is Kristian approved,” Lando commented as he read over the options but you pulled it from his grasp and reached for the phone.
“Fuck Kristian and fuck his diet, I’m hungry.”
Lando held his hands up in surrender before walking off with a laugh to Charles. “And you say I have attitude.”

would you maybe be able to write a fic for leah where the reader is a famous singer and goes to an arsenal or england game and then gets to meet the team after and leah is secretly a huge fan trying to play it cool (kind of like becks/posh)???
fan behaviour | leah williamson
pairing: leah williamson x reader
a/n: love this ask, feel like i miiight have read something similar to this but can't remember who wrote it, so apologies for conceptual similarities if there is any. also i reference reader wearing leah's no. 8 england jersey even though leah has worn many different numbers for england lol.
summary: reader is a famous singer who goes to an england game and goes back to meet the girls after, not knowing leah williamson thinks she is the fittest woman to walk the earth. leah's fellow lionesses taking the piss out of her a bit for her crush. reader finding it endlessly endearing, as you would.
word count: 2.1k
When you had asked your manager if she could organise getting you tickets to see the Lionesses play, you hadn't expected that your love for the women's team would be reciprocated in any way. So you were pleasantly surprised when your manager informed you that the team wanted to meet you after the game, and agreed immediately.
You had briefly met a few of the players already at a GQ event last year, and on that occasion you had found yourself completely infatuated with the captain Leah Williamson. You had watched on in the Euros as she lead the team out with such confidence and from there you had definitely developed a small crush on the footballer. You had even sourced yourself a number 8 Williamson jersey to wear to the final at Wembley.
After the historic final you shared a photo of yourself and your family donned proudly in your England jerseys to your instagram that night with the caption 'claiming the title of the @lionesses biggest fan. the girls brought it home ⚽️🔥❤️'. Little did you know that when Leah saw your post, she had made sure everyone on the team had seen that you were wearing her jersey. She couldn't believe her eyes, or that a musician of your status was posting about the Lionesses. In a simple display of mutual affection, Leah liked the post and left a comment saying 'The feeling is mutual, thanks for the love x'.
It wasn't until later in the year that the two of you had finally met at the GQ Men of the Year event after the Euros. You had seen her across the room and made a shamless beeline for her. Though no introductions were necessary, you both introduced yourselves, and right off the bat Leah mentioned the fact that you had posted a photo of yourself in her jersey. You tried your best to play it cool, but you certainly were blushing, which Leah only found more endearing.
"I've got to back the captain haven't I?" You'd told her.
"I'm not complaining, it looked better on you than it does on me," she responded flirtatiously with practised ease.
"You're making me blush now," you pat your cheeks, feeling the warmth of your face.
"Surely you get people complimenting you in every room you walk into," Leah said matter of factly, only flattering you further.
"Leah Williamson, stop inflating my ego!" You laughed, "You live a far more respectable life than I do, and you manage to look this bloody good while doing it," you motion up and down her body with your hands to her outfit, completely blown away by her ability to look so damn good in and out of kit.
"Well I'll take the compliment, but I'll have you know I have a great respect for you and your music," she says sincerely.
"Thank you, I guess it's my turn to take the compliment too," you tell her, and sadly your conversation is cut short by an announcement that the award ceremony is about to commence and that everyone must move to their seats. The rest of the night your mind was occupied with thoughts of the English captain, especially since she was honoured with multiple speeches of people singing her praises.
And while you couldn't have known it, Leah's mind was filled with you. After that night she had strictly listened to your music on repeat for weeks, much to the annoyance of her teammates who demanded something else be played since it was Leah who had the role of team DJ.
A few months later when you decided to secure tickets to the Arnold Clark Cup game in Milton Keynes, you had secretly hoped you might get another encounter with Leah, and your manager had confirmed this at the start of the night.
When the girls were in the change room before hand, news began to travel that you were in the crowd, but it hadn't reached Leah until she queued up one of your songs in the pre-game playlist and realisation dawned on Ella Toone's face.
"Can you believe Y/N Y/L/N is here? Apparently she's going to come say hello after the game," Ella said.
"Is she really?" Leah said, her voice coming out squeaky, the excitement evident.
"Oh good Lee, maybe you can just ask her out like a normal human instead of listening to her like an obsessive fan," Georgia Stanway said loud enough for every one to hear, making the team laugh.
"Give it a rest," Leah shook her head, but she smiled, knowing Georgia had a point.
Leah knew she had spent way too much time thinking about you for only having met you that one time, but she couldn't help it. She definitely felt there was a little chemistry in your brief conversation at the GQ event. She tried not to let herself believe that but, after all, you were one of the most famous artists in the world, and she was just a footballer. She wasn't even sure that you dated women. Either way, the idea that you were in the crowd made her want to put in a good performance.
From your posh seats, which you felt extremely lucky to be in, you were enthralled in the game, cheering as loud as anyone when the girls scored their 4 goals against South Korea. You'd even come wearing a Williamson Jersey under your coat, and throughout the game your eye was consistently drawn to the blonde defender who charmed you those months ago.
When the game ended one of the many people working behind the scenes for the Lionesses came to find you at your seat to escort you and your manager through the back of the stadium down to where the team was.
You could hear the sound of Murder On The Dancefloor playing loudly as you followed your escort towards the change room where the team was clearly celebrating their win. The girls were mostly too busy dancing and shouting along with the song to notice your entrance, which made you smile. You didn't want to disrupt their celebrations by any means, but the woman who brought you down had cleared her throat to get the girls attention.
"Sorry to interrupt ladies, but I've got someone special here who has kindly come to say hello!" She announces to the room and instantly the heads turn your way.
You flash a smile and wave as the music gets turned down, "Sorry to show up in the middle of such a good song," you apologise.
"Are you kidding me? The music can wait, you're Y/N bloody Y/L/N," Ella said, making you laugh.
"And you're Ella bloody Toone, it's so good to meet you. I'm a huge fan of you all," You said, expressing your love for the entire team, looking around the room. Even though you've brushed shoulders with more celebrities than you can count, staring into a room of footballers you admire felt extremely surreal.
"We're fans of yours, especially Leah," Georgia says, gesturing across the room with her thumb towards Leah who you were only managing to see now.
She stood resting against the wall with her arms crossed, shaking her head, "Thanks for that G."
You decide it's getting a bit awkward with everyone staring at you, as if you're about to give a half time pep talk so you try to diffuse the situation a little.
"Well I'd love to get around and have a chat with all of you, but please put your music on and do your thing, I feel silly standing up here in front of you all," you say, smiling.
"You heard her girls, stop staring, play the music Leah," Millie Bright said instructively and you watched as Leah picked her phone up and pressed play on the music.
Instantly many went back to singing along to the Sophie Ellis-Bextor classic, and you made your way over towards Georgia Stanway giving her a hug hello, and sitting down with her for a chat.
"That penalty was unreal," you told Georgia, referring to the goal she scored in the game. You spoke with her easily, feeling like you were catching up with a friend.
You continued to move your way around the room, chatting with some of the girls individually and with some in smaller groups. While they all had compliments for you and questions to ask, you met them with the exact same energy. The room quickly filled up with more people who work for the team and friends and family which made you feel less like you were a lucky fan who had orchestrated a private meet and greet with the team.
The whole time you were in the room you were looking for Leah out of the corner of your eye, wanting to save her for a bit later so you could get some more time to talk with her. Once you'd basically made your rounds of the room chatting to the players and their family members you finally made your way over to Leah.
"Saving the best for last?" Leah smirks at you as you approach.
"Well I'm not one to pick favourites, but I did wear my Williamson jersey tonight," you say, pushing open your coat to show off the white England jersey tucked loosely into your pants.
"I can't get over you wearing my shirt," Leah said, her pearly white teeth on full display, which you reflected with your own face.
"Is it surreal for you? Since I hear you're such a big fan of mine and all," you say, reference Georgia's little quip from earlier which didn't fly under your radar.
"Oh, she's got banter," Leah says, an eyebrow raised.
"She tries," you shrug your shoulders.
"Well if you must know, yes I'm a fan. I may even have been told off for playing too much of your music around the girls," she admits, "But you've got my name on your back so I'd say the feeling is mutual."
"Oh, it's definitely mutual, if anything I'm underplaying how big of a fan I am," you say, your honesty laced with sarcasm.
Leah smiles, "Well if we're being honest I'm really glad you came today, I was disappointed we didn't get to chat more back at that GQ event," Leah says earnestly.
"So was I! I actually tried to find you later that night but had no luck," you said.
"Oh, you did? I was probably just sitting with Alex Scott chatting her ear off about how fit you are," Leah says, her forwardness catching you off guard just slightly.
"Well just as well I came here today then," you said, dropping your voice slightly and leaning in closer to her ear, "Because I haven't stopped thinking about you since that night."
"Well what do you say we get together for coffee soon and we can gush over each other some more?" Leah offers and you light up at the idea.
"I'd say that's a great idea," you nod, laughing, "Here let me give you my number," you motion towards the phone in her hand and she unlocks it, handing it over to you. You open her contacts and create a new one for you.
"Alright, all done," you hand her phone back to her, feeling your heart beating in your chest.
"Perfect, well, Y/N, it was a pleasure to see you again," Leah says, opening her arms for a hug, which you slip into gladly.
"Yes, always a pleasure. Make sure you text me later, don't leave me hanging," you say in your embrace, knowing that you're close enough to Leah that the other girls might not hear.
"I wouldn't dare," Leah promises.
"Alright, good," you smile as you step away.
Now that your conversation has come to an end Leah turns back to the rest of the girls, most of whom are watching your and Leah's interaction very closely.
"Alright girls, Y/N is heading off now, say your goodbyes," Leah says, using what you think must be her captain voice, sounding very assertive.
"Bye guys, it's been so good to meet you all," you tell everyone as they all say goodbye and thank you for coming. You embrace almost everyone in a hug as you slowly making your way back around to the door where your manager waits for you.
You give one last wave goodbye, and have one last look at Leah who is watching every move of yours with a small smile on her face. She waves at you as you look at her and with that you turn and leave the room.
As you walk through the stadium to the back entrance where a car is waiting for you, your manager asks how you're feeling after meeting all the girls.
You giggle like you're a teenager again as you tell her, "I think I have a date with Leah Williamson."

THE CAFETERIA
Art. It was always Art. You had been friends for a long time, growing up together playing tennis and deciding to go to Stanford to further it. He was someone you’d describe as your best friend. Though, you had always hoped there’d be something more.
Then, however, Art met Tashi.
Tashi Duncan was nice enough to you - though you weren’t sure it was in her biological makeup to be more than ‘nice enough’. The one thing you didn’t like (you hated admitting this) was that Tashi made you jealous. It was impossible to not notice how Art looked at her, his eyes tracking when she played or drinking in her outfits.
So, it did feel a little uncomfortable for you when the three of you would sit together at lunch and you didn’t know what to say. You liked to listen, sure - Tashi had interesting things to say - but you wished Art would talk to you. Or even just at you.
“Y/N hit a great shot the other day,” Art said to Tashi, practically gushing over you (though you were the ever oblivious fool toward this), “I was surprised it didn’t go straight through Mia’s racket.” He continued, talking about your match with Mia Lee-Kendall. It wasn’t a match you thought much of, sure you were good, but Mia wasn’t and so your win didn’t feel all that special. At least that’s what you told yourself. Maybe the reason you didn’t want to think about it that much was because of Tashi watching from the audience…right next to Art.
You practically zoned out of the conversation, eyes tracking Art’s in a sense of solemnity as he spoke (you weren’t even sure what he was saying anymore) and eventually, when Art leaned forward into his conversation more, you had had enough and stood up with the claim you were thirsty.
It only took a few moments for you to reach the fridge yet it seemed Tashi and Art were already in a world of their own, giggling about something. Giggling.
You could admit that it hurt, seeing how happy they looked beside each other, whispering about something you were almost certain didn’t concern you. This assumption was answered when you walked over and the laughing stopped, Tashi turning to look at you as if there was some sort of joke you weren’t in on.
Art’s face was gently warmed, cheeks pink from some sort of embarrassment - though you weren’t sure why. The conversation quickly shifted to some other matter concerning tennis, though you found you weren’t really listening.
TENNIS PRACTICE
You had been practising the same backhand swing for the past hour, still not managing to get the movement how you wanted it - you were nothing if not a perfectionist. Maybe you would’ve gotten it eventually, but Art and Tashi had decided to grace you with their usual gossipping. It was the same position of leaning into each other, eyes darting across the room as if they were preparing for something big. It pissed you off.
“Want to play?” Art asked, lifting his racket up to show that he wanted to play a match with you. You didn’t reply, only sending a quick, distant nod and he crossed the courts, ending up opposite you.
The game was harsh, fast - not something Art was used to when he’d play against you. Your usual style was calm, calculated yet equally as powerful so this sudden shift to aggression caught him off guard. He tried to match your energy, but was stopped short when you returned the ball he had served with such force that he had to move out of the way - dropping his racket as he dodged.
He raised his hands, looking at you with confusion and annoyance. “What the fuck? You could’ve hit me!” He said, brows furrowing as he walked closer to the net - a sentiment you made no attempt to copy.
“You wanted to play.” You replied, voice harsh as you went to get another tennis ball from the side of the court. He scoffed, crossing his arms.
You finally turned to look at him and found him staring directly at you, eyes full with an emotion you couldn’t understand. Mother evening picked at your skin, raising your hairs as you approached again. It wiped the sweat from your neck, cooled the heat against your cheeks. “Sure, but that doesn’t mean I want a tennis ball shaped hole in me.” He replied.
There was no reply. You simply furrowed your brow and raised your racket, showing him you wanted to go again. Art sighed but gave in, heading for the back of the court once more. He matched the energy this time, hitting with force as you did (you could admit it made it harder to play, but you weren’t thinking of tennis at that moment).
All it took was for you to miss a shot and your racket was left shattered on the floor, its golden handle the only thing intact. You grabbed your bag and headed for the door, though that meant passing by Art on your way out.
And of course that meant he wanted you to say.
Art’s hand gripped your wrist, mouth centimetres from your ear as he whispered, “What’s your problem?” His eyes were set on yours, cheeks flushed from exertion. You tried to pull away from his hand but he only pulled you closer, bodies pushed toward one another.
“You.” Was your reply, one that seemed to shock Art. “You and all your secrets.” His hand released you now, trying to move to your shoulder in what seemed to be an attempt at comfort - something you didn’t let happen. Instead you walk away.
He follows, of course, arms trying to wrap around you in some sort of reassuring hug but your struggle proved you had no want for it and he acquiesced. Tashi was his resort, as if she would have the answers to his confusion.
STANFORD DORMS - BLOCK A - THE LIFT
You wait. The lift was a temperamental thing, but you were too tired, too annoyed to walk up the stairs. Instead, you leant against the wall, face still warm from practice that day. The lift offered a pathetic beep as the doors opened and you had to fight not to scream at who was inside. Tashi and Art stood there, silent and awkward - neither making direct eye contact as if you were some wounded animal.
“I’ll take the stairs.” You said with an irritated grunt before turning on your heel and pushing the door of the stairwell open.
Art followed behind you, as you had unfortunately expected and sped forward to stop you. That’s where the two of you stood, still and silent in the bottom of an echoey stairwell.
“Why do you hate me?” His question forced a new kind of silence into the room, a tension sitting thick against your chest as you found the words to reply to a question you never thought you’d get. Though, he had decided that you had taken too long to answer and asked again, though this time with more anger behind his tone, “Why do you hate me?”
Your words were just as sharp as yours, arms rising in frustration. “I don’t! I hate that you don’t love me.” You responded and he blanched, face contorting in shock before shifting into an almost invisible smile.
“I do.”
The word seemed to echo, and as his smile grew you stepped forward (though you weren’t sure it was by choice). “What?” You asked, words quiet and unsure.
Art smiled again, looking downward - you found your eyes flitting to the soft blond curls that fell over his face. “It’s um-” He began, seemingly trying not to laugh, “It’s always been you.” His hand rose to his mouth and he pinched his lip, a habit he had that you were especially fond of.
You placed your hand over your necklace, fiddling with it awkwardly and replied, “But Tashi-”
“Was giving me advice, trying to convince me to ask you out.” He laughed awkwardly afterward and you joined him, both of you leaning forward. You were willing to admit, it wasn’t your smartest moment.
He stepped closer to you, hand twitching, reaching out for yours. Art’s eyes, a beautiful mix of brown and blue, stared into yours, that same smile still playing on his lips. “I really want to kiss you.” The words were so quiet, so soft. You closed the gap between your hands, allowing his cool skin to settle against yours and he leaned in. There was a gentleness to it at first, which was quickly deepened as you moved closer. Your hand travelled up his neck, finding a place in his hair which elicited a shiver from him, a gasp. His breath shuddered as you kissed his jawline, head turning upwards. Art’s hands pulled you into him, fingers tickling gently against your waist. He whispered once more, through soft breaths,
“It’s always been you.”

Easter hunt | Grace Clinton x Reader
Where you create an easter egg hunt for your girlfriend's birthday
A short little fic for the birthday girl!
Woso masterlist | Words: 870
-----
A lot of fans were surprised when they found out that you and Grace were dating. You were the definition of sunshine and grumpy, and golden retriever and black cat, but the people close to you had no doubt about it. You loved Grace, and Grace loved you.
That is why it was to no surprise to your teammates that you had an elaborate plan set in place to celebrate your girlfriend’s birthday. You had asked them for help setting everything up, while you made sure that she would have a great birthday morning.
Since Grace's birthday fell on Easter Sunday this year you planned to give her her gifs in the form of Easter baskets throughout the day. Far from the grumpy or black cat vibes you gave out to the world, but in Grace’s eyes you were a sweet, soft, and caring person, and you would do everything to bring a smile onto her face.
After some morning cuddles, you headed into the kitchen together in your pyjamas, where the first basket was standing on the counter. Grace had no idea of your plan, but gravitated right towards the bright blue mixing bowl filled with ingredients, and baking tools. “What’s this baby?” She asked while looking through it. “Your first birthday Easter basket. Happy birthday, my love.” She ran back your way and jumped into your arms. “You are the sweetest, thank you so much!” You hold her tight, while you smile into her chest. “Of course, you’ve been saying you want to bake more, so I thought what better way to start than making pancakes or waffles for your birthday breakfast.”
You were dancing through the kitchen together, to one of your favourite playlists, while mixing ingredients together to create a batter. Grace went for blueberry waffles, and they tasted delicious. After some more soft moments together in the kitchen, you got ready to head to practice, where the next surprise awaited your girlfriend. Celin had been your biggest help in setting up the surprise for you. So, when you arrived Celin was the first one running up to wish Grace a happy birthday, after which she handed Grace a basket. Grace looked confused between the both of you, “Good luck on your Easter hunt!” You and Celine said at the same time. The girl’s eyes lit up, you made an Easter egg hunt for me?” Celine pointed to you, “She did all the work, I just hid the eggs around the training grounds.”
Grace was running around like an excited little kid collecting the plastic eggs, showing them off every time that she found a new one. Her excitement over the silly little activity you had planned was one of the reasons you loved the woman so much. “Did I find them all?” She asked when she hadn’t found any for a couple of minutes. “Open the eggs, and you’ll know.” You said with a smirk. Finding the eggs was not the only part of the game. Inside each plastic egg was a puzzle piece, meant to reveal a hint to where her next Easter basket present was waiting for her.
She put together the pieces that she had, and realised she was still missing two. You knew that with the ones she was missing she could still flip the puzzle and read the clue, but what was the fun in not completing part one of the game? So you told her she needed to find the last two as well. With a couple of hints from Celine, she managed to locate the eggs. She rushed back to where she made the puzzle, to add the missing pieces. She flipped the puzzle and read your scrambled Easter egg message. To find your basket, you must look in the place where the Easter bunny practises its hops. She thought for a moment, and then she realised that they had practised their high jumps in the gym last week. “Is it in the gym?” She asked you, with shrugged shoulders you responded. “I don’t know, let’s go look.”
Of course Grace had guessed right, and her next basket was waiting for her amongst the weight rack. Another basket filled with goodies, this time there was a variety of gardening supplies, some tools, and flower seeds. Gardening was another hobby that Grace wanted to pursue more, and you wanted to make sure that she had everything she needed to start. Grace looked through all the stuff in the basket, and couldn’t believe you had listened to her ramble about hobbies she wanted to explore. “Thank you so much, you are the best.” She said as she hugged you again.
Once she was done with the Easter hunt, you and the team started training. You were thankful for the staff, who allowed you to plan something special for Grace during a part of the training, to be able to celebrate it with your friends.
You had more planned for the rest of the day, but for the following hours your focus would be on training. But you were going to make sure that Grace had the best birthday, like you tried to give her every single year.

I decided to take up teaching myself piano for funsies, and...4 days in, I am enjoying myself. Autistic rambling behind the cut lmao
I've got the layout of the keys committed to memory, and I can find notes, [major]scales, and chords very easily (patterns!!). So--I'm dumping all my concentrated effort right now into building hand independence, and it would be feeling nearly sisyphean if I didn't know how brains worked. I'm still struggling to play through a five note scale with both hands at different paces [one playing in half notes, the other playing in quarter notes.] Literally the most basic of the basic exercises...but I figure there's no point getting much fancier than this until I can do it with some relatively clean consistency, and at a good tempo. It's brain neuropathway stuff--so really, so long as I take my time[extremely slow lmao] to be clean and accurate, I should be able to do it faster and faster as the days go by. And then once it feels like a relatively easy exercise [rather than something that blends my brain into soup], I can introduce some more difficulty.
I'm kinda curious to see how long it take to build the skill. Not even learning how to play songs, just learning how to make my hands and fingers move independantly, deliberately, to a set tempo. That shit's SO HARD lmao I thought I would graduate past this first exercise in a couple days, but it's gonna take...a bit longer. I can tell I am improving, though, because it takes less time for me to stop tripping up each time I sit down. Can't hold a steady tempo just yet tho, no matter how slow.
When I'm not doing that, I'm just playing around with random chords and trying to figure out why certain combos sound so good, and why others don't. And it really is all just...patterns. Which is cool! The theory side of things is making a lot more sense to me than I expected it to, and I really like it.
Anyways, I've been hammering on this thing a lot, since I only just got it and the novelty has me captivated. Like...a couple hours each day. I recon that'll slow down once the novelty wears, but I hope I never lose interest completely. So long as I can sit down and practise consciously for half an hour each day, I figure it'll get me to a point eventually where I can produce something that resembles...music lmao
we'll see, I guess. The exercises are actually fun to do tho...which is more than I can say for drawing 😂

Can u do, like, Lando’s diary, maybe?
Warnings: Swearing, Stalker!Lando, pretending to be someone else.
Pairing: Lando Norris x fem!reader
A/N - A few or Lando’s diary entries
A/N2 - I write my dates in the British format or DD/MM/YYYY not MM/DD/YYYY
01/05/2024
Dear Fucking Diary,
I dunno why I decided to write a flipping diary, but I guess I am. Well. Check on my day, I guess? Did shitty media, met some fans. Nothing big. Nothing unusual. Fuck it.
02/05/2024
Dear Fucking Diary,
Sooooooooooooooooooooooo, things have changed up a bit. I was in the garage and I saw this really, really pretty girl angel and oh my god, I swear, love at first sight. Seriously, she’s gorgeous. I can’t get over her. So I asked Oscar and decided to put up with the few minutes of teasing, because man, I couldn’t not know who she was, ya know? Fill in tomorrow
03/05/2023
Dear Fucking Diary,
Her names Y/N. I’m not a stalker, I swear, but I couldn’t, like, not find all her socials and stuff. They’re on private though. Fucks sake. So, I made the very very deep decision to make another instagram account and follow her. Maybe I’d get her interested. So I sent her a DM. Acting as if I had the wrong Y/N. Though god, I wish I knew other people called Y/N. Her name’s gorgeous. Got practise now. Write tomorrow.
04/05/2024
Dear Fucking Diary,
She accepted my follow request. We talked for a bit. She thinks my name’s Oscar. Sorry to actual Oscar. But god, she’s so pretty. We called for a bit, surprised she didn’t recognise my voice. Well, we didn’t work close enough to do so anyways. She worked on Oscar’s side of the garage. She was so clueless, it felt like a game. Not in a good way, how would I ever come clean?
05/05/2023
Dear Fucking Diary,
She’s pretty. She hasn’t blocked me, I’m surprised, but I flicked through her socials. She’s so pretty, oh my god. I told Oscar. He told me to come clean. But how? What if she thought I was a freak or a stalker? I mean, I technically was. But like, what if she exposed me and ruined my whole career? Forget that, what if I lost her? I can’t.
06/05/2024
Dear Fucking Diary,
Hi lando, you left your diary in Oscar’s driver room. Fucking stalker.
13/05/2024
Dear Fucking Diary,
You read what she wrote, I’m fucked. She hasn’t turned up to work for a week. I’m scared. She’s blocked me on everything, I shouldn’t have done what I did. I asked Zak about her, he doesn’t know. I don’t want her to leave, I can’t stand the thought of her with someone else. Fuck this diary. It’s a curse.

Great potential
word count; 953 – f!reader
“I wish that handsome libero would just notice me!” you whined, all your friends giggling or rolling their eyes. Shibayama listened from around the corner, a small pout on his lips. Of course, you would like Yaku. He’s confident, handsome and the reliable backbone of Nekoma’s defence on the volleyball court.
“Who are you dragging along to the game this time? You’re literally a volleyball player, on the starting team no less, you don’t need an excuse to go to volleyball games,” your best friend said, smiling as you discussed your crush once again. They found you cute but it became quite frustrating to watch you send him heart eyes every day without actually talking to him, claiming he was too cool for you. That made them frustrated for sure because, to them, Shibayama was just Shibayama.
“I was thinking you could come with me, please?” you asked her, putting on your best puppy eyes and clutching your hands together. She sighed, tilting her head in contemplation. Shibayama huffed from where he stood and walked away, not hearing the next part.
“He doesn’t even get to play.”
“That’s just because Yaku is the best right now,” you start saying before going on to explain how Shibayama is so lucky to learn from such a great senpai, and how he seemed prepared to work hard to earn his spot after the third-years graduate, which made him even more admirable.
“Shibayama does have great potential, but I can’t say I understand what you see in him.”
You smirked, nodding in agreement. “That great potential is hot.”
Time flew by, and then you’re in your second year, still going to the games to focus on your fellow Nekoma libero. After the third-years graduated, Shibayama was put in as the starter and you were thrilled to watch him in action more often. You still forced different friends to come with you, shamelessly cheering a bit louder when Shibayama made great saves and passes.
When Nekoma won the game that qualified them for the Tokyo finals, you were ecstatic. After your best friend had joined you for so many games, she became interested in and got close to Inuoka. This gave her the perfect opportunity to drag you with her down on the court to congratulate them. You weren’t about to deny it, but you tried not to be too obvious about who you were looking for in the crowd of red uniforms.
But never mind you being shy, that’s what best friends are for, and as your bestie was about to jump hug Inuoka, she gave you a strong push that sent you flying over to Shibayama. Luckily, he had quick reflexes and steadied you, but suddenly you had to talk to him. You weren’t even sure if you had talked to him before. Surely you’ve said hi, right?
“Hi. I’m a libero too,” you say, completely stiff.
“I know,” he said, looking at his shoes to laugh under his breath. “You’re great.”
A warm gust of wind seemed to rush past you when he acknowledged you, but it was just in your imagination. “We should practice together sometime!”
“Totally!” Kenma caught the interaction from the side, a tiny smile on his face as he thought about how this might play out. He does care about his friends and underclassmen, and everyone on the team knows how Shibayama has ranted about you this year, ever since Yaku graduated.
Shibayama was not about to let this opportunity go, so he bribed Lev with food to get him to do an extra day of practice with you and him. Lev had been practising his jump serve and was getting pretty good. It would be good practice for all of you.
You three were pretty sweaty after an hour of seemingly constant serves and receives. Wiping your arm over your forehead, you smiled and sat down on the gym floor. “I’m so jealous you got to learn from Yaku your first year. We didn’t have a libero so I was thrown right into battle.”
If he minded you mentioning his senpai (he did), he didn’t show it. “I guess I am, and covering for Lev’s lack of skills has challenged me even further.”
“Hey!”
You didn’t do much to acknowledge the other boy who pouted and went to get his water bottle. “It shows, you’re really good,” you told him, hoping the warmth in your cheeks could be excused as from the workout.
Shibayama stared at you for a second before looking away, nodding his head. “Thank you.”
You considered him for a moment, hesitating on how to continue the conversation. “Must be quite some pressure, taking over after him.”
He sighed, looking at his feet where he clacked the tips of his shoes together absentmindedly. “Yaku? I suppose.” You smiled when he looked at you again, but then frowned at his next shy words. “I heard you found him handsome.”
You stuttered, utterly confused as to why he would think you had any particular liking to the other libero when he had been the apple of your eye for all this time. “I find you handsome,” you admitted, practically spitting the words out and then curling your legs closer to you to hide your face in embarrassment. “Sorry.”
Shibayama’s jaw loosened as he stared at you. “Me?” his face practically matched his uniform now. “You’re, like… gorgeous.”
There was a silence between you as you finally lifted your gaze again, and the two of you smiled in what felt like understanding, only to be interrupted by the third wheel, who Shibayama surely regretted inviting now. “Are you two going to kiss or something? I’d rather leave before you start.”
